The Gill Corporation is seeking a Planner/Scheduler to plan, schedule and follow up on production orders in support of customer and internal demands. Ensure that TGC makes or buys the right material, at the right time, in the right quantity, to the right place, with the best quality and at the lowest possible cost. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, the Planner/Scheduler will perform but not be limited to the following responsibilities. Responsibilities: Review customer demands and provide Production's commitments to Sales. Using MRP system, establish the required quantities and availability of material needed to meet these demands. Release Work Orders accordingly. Pro-Actively communicate across the organization scheduling issues and opportunities to ensure deliveries are met and objectives are achieved. Confer with department supervisors to determine status of assigned scheduled work. Generate daily status reports and act as the information hub for all issues concerning/impacting delivery schedules. Expedite operations that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions. Interface with purchasing to expedite problem parts and to reschedule material deliveries that will result in excess inventory. Responsible for coordinating timely shipments to customers. Dips core blocks in a dip tank and soaks them with resin. Removes dipped core blocks and takes them to an oven to cure the resin and then removes them from the oven to cool. Responsibilities: Turns afterburner and Nomex oven on/off as required. Uses programs for dipping loaves. Adds resin and alcohol to tank as needed. Cleans dipping frames and tank as needed. Calculates and records the amount of alcohol and resin used per block. Weighs loaves before and after dipping, and records on work order. Sets oven temperature controls and places dipped units in oven to bake and dry for specified time. Records densities and all other necessary information on work order. Reports labor and issues material to Visual software. Must be available any shift, over-time and weekends. Other duties may be assigned dependent on TGC business requirements. This position will directly and indirectly develop, assess, audit and promote a wide range of work place hazard reduction/compliance initiatives involving work practices, machinery, training, PPE and related exposures. Will oversee chemical handling education and other related responsibilities. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Manufacturing Engineering, they will perform but not be limited to the following responsibilities. Responsibilities: Coordinate compliance and qualification with all local, state, and federal environmental and safety regulatory agencies (AQMD, OSHA, Fire Department, Sanitation Department etc.). Responsible for tracking compliance to all EHS requirements and deliverables including: plans, regulatory submittals, forms, fees/invoices via MAPCON, regular mail, and direct regulatory agency contact. Complete or facilitate submittal and record retention of regulatory forms, reports and permits. Attend workshops and hearings to determine how to clarify, report on and implement new proposed rules and regulations of governing company operations. Collaborate with all site functions on projects as required. Work with Maryland EHS Manager on safety initiatives and practices as needed. Develops, schedules, and conducts EHS training programs; partners with managers to deliver in-house training that promotes employee awareness of safety procedures, regulatory compliance, and workplace risk prevention. Respond and manage environmental and safety incidents and emergencies for all shifts and overnight/weekends as needed. Indirectly review and be conversant with all active Workers Compensation claims and the resolution management of those claims/injuries. The Gill Corporation is seeking a Fabrication Assembler with experience in production assembly, high attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency. This position assists the department supervisor in various day-to-day work activities within the fabrication department and will complete rework activities per the direction of the Operations Engineering. Reporting to the Production Supervisor they will perform but not be limited to the following responsibilities. Responsibilities: Primary duties include finishing detailed panel assembly and liners. Uses specifications, blueprints, mylar and work orders. Deburrs and cleans insert drill holes prior to insert installation. Applies adhesive to plugs/ sleeves and panel prior to plug/ sleeve installation. Prepares panel assemblies for edge fill operation. Mixes and applies adhesive to the undercut/edge of panels. Hand routes with pneumatic hand router all detailed liners using the specified tool required. Records all material and logs information on work orders and in SAP software. Other essential duties may be assigned. Shift Requirement and Compensation for this role: 2nd shift 2:00pm-10:30pm Training will be conducted on 1st Shift 5:30am - 2:00pm Compensation: Base Rate starting at $22.15 an hour. Responsibilities: Sets up machine to run - adjusting doc blade, tension, setting ovens, using correct print cylinder. Loads correct paper to run with sets cutter length. Checks print weighs solids, viscosity; all must be within shop planner specifications. Fills out solid sheets, log sheets and charts with appropriate information. Records material usage and fills out shop work order with printing set up checklist and sign offs. Record labor transactions in SAP. Disposes of scrap node bond adhesive through hazardous waste. Perform scheduled machine PM's as prescribed. Apply and practice 5S concept to maintain a safe and clean work environment. Must be available to work any shift, over-time and weekends.
