Directs sheet metal personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications. (See Gillette Planning) Man loading of schedules and tracking to ensure hours spent are in relation to original estimate Coordination of planning, material, and equipment needed to meet schedules. Support project and construction management with planning and utilization of proper means and methods for sheet metal activities. Analyze situations, identify and forecast pertinent problems and evaluate realistic options; and recommend/implement appropriate course of action prior to mobilizing the field. Adhere to and support the company s Health, Safety & Environmental Policies. Identify training and experience appropriate for assignment scope. Ability to communicate effectively. Job related technical knowledge necessary to lead the team to success. Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines. Including Federal Projects/USACE. Ability to attend to detail, work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner Coordinate and implement activities and any other resource necessary to assure a safe and quality execution Build Relationships with client superintendents adding value to the project Basic computer and software skills to include the use of e-mail, spreadsheets and PlanGrid. May have to interact with outside testing agencies. Lead and Coordinate all Site Activities in conjunction with the Project Manager related to installation of mechanical equipment Provide assistance/support to field personnel on his job/s. Maintain established Safety Plan throughout project OSHA 30 Required Oversee field personnel administration, including time sheets, performance reviews, attendance and time off requests Oversee Construction and Subcontractors directs and supervise field staff in accordance with project plan and schedule compliance Assist Project Manager in updating Project Schedule Insures as-builts are updated for all projects Attend GC meetings as required Assist Project Manager with Submittal Reviews and Take-offs
