Shri Shishir Jaipuria, B.Com., LLB, has about 32 years of experience in managing companies in areas of Textile, Newspaper, Sugar, etc. Presently he has interest in Textile and Education. He has served as the Managing Director of The Pioneer Limited, a leading Newspaper of Uttar Pradesh.

Mr. Jaipuria is Chairman & Managing Director of Ginni Filaments Ltd., which is a leading producer of yarn, fabric, garment and nonwoven. Mr. Jaipuria is also Chairman of Seth Anandram Jaipuria Education Society, which is involved in imparting quality education through its Schools and Management Institutes. He is also associated with various Societies and Trusts rendering philanthropic activities namely - Hospital and Guest-Houses.

Presently, Mr. Jaipuria is Chairman, Textiles & Technical Textiles Committee, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI). He has also held the post of Director, National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), Chairman, Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI) & Northern India Textile Research Association (NITRA), President, Northern India Textile Mills’ Association (NITMA) and Chairman, U.P. Committee, PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry (PHDCCI) in the past.
