Patrols assigned areas of hospital campus to maintain an orderly and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Enforces Hospital policies and procedures, and applicable local and state laws. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of Children's Hospital Medical Center of Akron (CHMCA).
Responsibilities:
1. Actively patrol assigned area of jurisdiction on foot or in a vehicle, checking buildings and surrounding areas for criminal activity or unsafe conditions.
2. Working independently with minimal supervision, respond to all assigned calls for police services, including, but not limited to; violent persons, hazardous situations, medical and mental health emergencies, and non-criminal assistance to the campus community.
3. Knowledge and adherence of department policies, procedures, as well as City, State, and Federal law.
4. Observe traffic hazards and conditions, and recommend corrective actions, investigate traffic accidents, enforce traffic laws and parking violations, assist motorists with disabled vehicles, and direct traffic.
5. Ability to effectively communicate and use police radio, computer, email, and telephone.
6.Interact with diverse populations with respect and dignity of cultural norms and practices.
7.Make arrests for violations of laws or ordinances, prepare and file necessary court documents, testify in court, transport prisoners.
8.Interview complainants, victims, witnesses, and suspects, analyze report information to enhance enforcement, investigative or safety efforts and prepare written reports in the record management system.
9.Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain certifications, enhance skills, and uphold best practices in law enforcement.
10. Engage in community policing initiatives, fostering positive relationships with patients, visitors, and staff, and collaborate to resolve safety concerns and enhance community trust.
11. Perform any other assigned duties/tasks related to the needs of the department, meet and maintain any performance standards established for the position.

The Construction Project Superintendent is responsible for the first-line supervision of a work crew (usually four crews with 1 to 10 employees) performing construction on Industrial Piping sites including Natural Gas Facilities and Hydrant Fueling Systems at airports. Job Summary:
Cornerstone Systems is seeking a dedicated on-site Transportation Representative for our office located in Canfield, OH. The Surface Transportation Representative will report to the Branch Manager and will be responsible for all operational support, as well as sales initiatives and accounting tasks. The Transportation Representative will be accountable for helping build and maintain carrier and customer relationships, as well as ensuring the day to day execution of operations. Responsibilities:
Follow up on load statuses and assure deliveries are made.
Evaluate and provide shipping instructions to the service provider.
Review documents submitted by carriers to assure accuracy, detail, and completeness.
Release load for billing when the load has been delivered and all information is accurate.
Manage, service, and grow current customer/carrier relationships.
Ensure compliance with all SOPs and daily adherence to requirements.
Source carrier capacity as needed to cover customer freight.
Understand market trends and seasonality of capacity.
Develop carrier relationships and contacts at multiple levels (dispatch, sales, and owner).
Understand the customer's shipping needs; identify service and/or cost improvement opportunities, and execute their highest priority initiatives.
Negotiate rates, find pain points and provide solutions to help the customer benefit from their supply chain.
Convert new carrier relationships into repeat business.
Prospect new sales opportunities, establish customer and carrier relationships, negotiate rates, problem solve and close loads to build personal book of business.
Prospect customers, source carriers, negotiate rates, problem solve, and manage problems.
Document and manage problematic events and issues during the life of a load. Escalate issues to the proper people at the right time. Seek input to determine best course of action and implement solutions.
When needed, must be willing to input shipment data in TMS and manage shipment from pickup to delivery.
Create new solutions to existing partnerships by further developing customer and carrier relationships; always ask questions, listen, never be satisfied.
