The GSEWNI council serves an area comprised of 19 counties in Central and Eastern Washington, and 10 counties in Northern Idaho for a total of 29 counties covering 67,000 square miles. The council is headquartered in Spokane, Washington and has regional field staff located in the Tri-Cities, Washington and Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. GSEWNI serves approximately 4,000 girls in kindergarten through 12th grade with the help of 2,000 dedicated adult volunteers. Girls are at the center of everything we do as a council. POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for providing support for Tri Cities council store ensuring timely, quality service to the council's membership and staff.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION:
Serves as support staff to the council store to include, but not limited to:
Facilitates transactions, maintains tender sheet, sends credit card batch reports, and performs opening and closing procedures for store
Assists customers with questions and store purchases; engages in problem-solving and provides solutions; manages and responds appropriately to all inquiries including but not limited to phone, and walk-in customers
Maintains a customer-centric environment in public areas of store and surrounding facilities. Greets store visitors and reaches out to appropriate staff as needed
Enhances organization reputation by providing a positive customer experience for all those contacted, either in person or by phone
Maintain close contact and consistent communication with Retail director
Provides high quality inventory management:
Maintains and updates inventory on ecommerce platforms
Performs random inventory counts on council merchandise
Assembles displays and kits for merchandise in the council store
Receives, counts, tags, and re-stocks merchandise from shipments and back stock
Council Support:
Serves as support to other departments as assigned
Provides on-call support when needed
Evening, weekend, and extended hours may be required for events or major projects in progress
Performs other duties as assigned

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for supporting Volunteers throughout northern Idaho with logistical support for starting new troops, supports for ongoing troops, and supporting regional volunteer leadership teams with planning events and supporting a variety of school events, community events, and other unique organizations. This position will follow-up on leads and work with members of the membership team to develop strategies for member development. About the Position
The Vice President, Finance & Accounting (Controller) provides strategic leadership and hands-on operational oversight for the Council's finance and accounting functions. Serving as the organization's senior internal financial leader, this role is accountable for the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all accounting operations, financial reporting, audits, grant compliance, and internal controls. This is an actively engaged leadership role that combines deep technical accounting expertise with enterprise-wide responsibility, including direct oversight of core accounting processes and GAAP-compliant reporting. In alignment with Council-wide strategy, the Vice President translates organizational priorities into practical financial operations and reliable reporting that support informed decision-making and long-term sustainability. The role reports directly to and works closely with the Chief Executive Officer, serves on the Leadership Team, and plays a key role in safeguarding the organization's financial health and regulatory compliance.
This is a regular, full-time exempt role with a starting pay range of $106,838 to $120,193 per year. Residency in Washington State, preferably within our Council-region of Western Washington, is required. This position is classified as remote; however, successful candidates must be willing and able to come into a GSWW office or alternative work location as necessary or when requested.

About the Position
The Healthcare Director oversees and promotes the camper's and staff's general health and safety. They are responsible for maintaining the camp health house, administering medications, advanced first aid care, reviewing health histories, health screening checks, keeping accurate and detailed records, and ensuring that all health and wellness standards are met. About the Position
The Head Cook plays a vital role in the camp's operations, leading the kitchen in planning, organization, and implementation of food service for the summer camp program. This role oversees a team of 4-5 kitchen staff and is responsible for creating the team's weekly schedule. The head cook will ensure all pieces of the food service program operate effectively by coordinating efforts for meal service in the dining hall, as well as ensuring cook-out meal kits are correctly prepared for pick up. This position works closely with the site management team to ensure the kitchen areas are safe, in good repair, and meet state and county health requirements.
Compensation for this position is $140 - $165 per day, with the starting rate dependent on previous employment at GSWW camps.
Camp Season 2026 will run from June 7th through August 18th, with start and end dates determined by position. Overnight camp staff will divide their summer between Camp Robbinswold (located in Lilliwaup, WA) and Camp St. Albans (located in Allyn, WA). About the Position
The Business Manager oversees the camp's administrative operations, including ordering supplies, managing and distributing unit paperwork, and operating the camp store. The role also involves communicating with camper families before, during, and after their child's session, providing support and information through email and phone.
Compensation for this position is $115 - $125 per day, with the starting rate dependent on previous employment at GSWW camps.
Camp Season 2026 will run from June 7th through August 18th, with start and end dates determined by position. Overnight camp staff will divide their summer between Camp Robbinswold (located in Lilliwaup, WA) and Camp St. Albans (located in Allyn, WA). They will begin at St. Albans for the first week of training, then transition to Robbinswold for the second week. Staff will work three one-week camper sessions at Robbinswold, take a short break, and then complete three sessions at St. Albans.

About the Position
The Boating Specialist is responsible for providing supervision and ensuring a safe environment during boating activities. This role will lead boating activities with campers across a variety of crafts including canoes, paddleboards, and Camp St. Albans famed Viking boats. This role assists the Waterfront Director in the management of the boathouse facilities and equipment. The Boating Specialist sleeps in an assigned camper living unit and helps in various aspects of camp life with that group, providing support to Unit Counselors when not facilitating or planning lessons.

About the Position
The Assistant Camp Director provides an effective day camp program by directly supporting the Camp Director with the day-to-day camp operations. This position will supervise staff, manage unit and program needs, aid the growth and development of all staff members, and assist with planning, development, and implementation of camp logistics, program, and staff training.

About the Position
The Assistant Camp Director provides an effective overnight camp program by directly supporting the Camp Director with the day-to-day camp operations. This position will supervise department directors, manage unit and program needs, aid the growth and development of all staff members, and assist with planning, development, and implementation of camp logistics, program, and staff training.
Compensation for this position is $145 - $155 per day, with the starting rate dependent on previous employment at GSWW camps.
Camp Season 2026 will run from June 7th through August 18th, with start and end dates determined by position. Overnight camp staff will divide their summer between Camp Robbinswold (located in Lilliwaup, WA) and Camp St. Albans (located in Allyn, WA). They will begin at St. Albans for the first week of training, then transition to Robbinswold for the second week. Staff will work three one-week camper sessions at Robbinswold, take a short break, and then complete three sessions at St. Albans.
Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist the Camp Director with day-to-day operations of the overall camp program, assuming the primary leadership position when the camp director is unavailable
Manage the partnerships amongst all departments, reviewing weekly program schedules that adhere to camp goals and outcomes
Observe and evaluate department directors, scheduling weekly one-on-one meetings with staff to deliver feedback
Maintain quality control of programming, ensuring that it matches the abilities and interests of campers
Support the development of the summer camp team through planning and facilitating training workshops, regular staff meetings, and coaching and feedback sessions
Support and participate in implementing all camp activities such as meals, games, campfires, etc.
