Role and Scope of Position: The Vegetation Management GIS Technician is responsible for supporting the execution of the Vegetation Management Department's data analytics as related to ESRI Geographical Information System \(GIS\) associated with the Company's electrical system\. The individual will perform complex data analysis using ArcGIS and related extensions/add\-ons, relational databases, and other computer software; understands and can apply the capabilities of GIS, ArcGIS Online \(AGOL\), databases, and other computer programs to solve complex spatial and relational problems\. In this position you will be focused on conducting data analysis and preparation of documents, data reports, GIS dashboards, and maps\. The individual will also leverage Eversource data \(GIS, Work Management, NMS, etc\.\) with non\-Eversource data \(Communities, Environmental Impact, Capacity Studies, etc\.\) for complex analytics and work management strategies\. Job Description **Essential Functions:** + Work with members of the team and department to define problems and clarify objectives; determines spatial data needs and assists in designing collection tools and reports\.
