Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Dishwasher / Utility Kitchen Staff member to support our culinary and dining operations. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen and dishwashing area to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for residents and staff. Key Responsibilities: Clean and sanitize work areas including the dish station, food prep zones, and chemical storage areas. Wash and sanitize all kitchen utensils and food service equipment in accordance with health and safety standards. Sweep, mop, and scrub floors and drains to maintain cleanliness and safety. Set up, break down, and clean equipment related to food service operations. Practice “clean as you go” habits to ensure a neat, sanitary environment at all times. Maintain proper water temperature and cleanliness in sanitation basins. Remove trash from dietary service areas and transport to designated disposal locations. Qualifications: Minimum 6 months of experience in a commercial kitchen or food service environment. Familiarity with proper cleaning, sanitizing, and equipment handling procedures. Ability to complete dish machine temperature logs and follow established protocols. Capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs. Must pass a background check, drug screening, pre-employment physical, and TB exam. Additional Requirements: Strong commitment to safety and cleanliness. Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
