Review and analyze laboratory data to ensure data integrity and accuracy
Perform laboratory testing and related activities as needed

Recommend improvements to laboratory procedures and practices
Participate in investigations, including deviations and root cause analyses

Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related scientific field
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on QC or analytical laboratory experience (HPLC experience required)
At least 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in a laboratory setting
Strong knowledge of analytical techniques and troubleshooting
Experience with laboratory data acquisition software
Working knowledge of cGMP regulations
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)

PROCESS IMPROVEMENT ENGINEER - OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Process Improvement Engineer conducts/participates in continuous improvement activities to eliminate waste through implementation of lean principles and standardized tools to support manufacturing and project teams. This position works with the production team to design and implement electronically designed sub-assemblies for production.
PROCESS IMPROVEMENT ENGINEER - MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in the creation of CAD designed sub assemblies for production
Perform project work in support of the implementation of Lean principles.
Assist in the preparation of Kaizen and 5S events including follow-up and event audits.
Ensures a safe and healthy workplace while implementing improvements.
Any and all other duties assigned by a direct supervisor and/or member of management.
PROCESS IMPROVEMENT ENGINEER - REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS:
Engineering or Technical career
3 years of experience of design with Solid Works or Solid Edge CAD software required
Minimum of 2 years previous job experience implementing lean principles in a manufacturing site.
Experience with piping design for units.
Experience with Lean manufacturing or principles.
Understanding of manufacturing processes.
Demonstrates ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
Ability to influence other team members without direct authority across all functions and areas of the business to be able to implement improvements and sustain results.
Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while supporting multiple projects or Kaizen events.
Ability to provide informative and professional assistance when working with the Management and co-workers.
Ability to maintain positive interpersonal relationships which encourage openness with customers and peers.
