The Metrology Technician works collaboratively with the Quality Engineers and Project Engineers to meet deadlines for customer part approval. This includes completing all items that are requested on the trial card. First Article Inspections, Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility Process, Process Capability Studies, Design of Experiments, steel Measurements, design of fixtures and programming the measurement equipment can all be a part of the mold and part approval. The Metrology Technician works closely with production to have programs set up for the Quality Leaders to be able to determine acceptance of parts at start up, in process and final inspections. This includes training the Quality Leaders on the fixturing and the programs.

* Prepares clay surface for pitching and batting areas; drag infield areas and base paths according to established procedures.
