The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of guillotine cutting processes and equipment In this position, you will: Set up and operate guillotine cutting machines to cut printed materials according to job specifications Read and interpret job tickets, cutting orders, and production layouts Ensure accuracy of cuts by measuring, aligning, and verifying materials before and after cutting Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and compliance with specifications Perform routine machine maintenance and report mechanical issues to maintenance staff Receive, identify, and organize materials as needed for production workflow Maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with company safety standards Track production output and complete required documentation or logs Collaborate with press, bindery, and finishing teams to ensure efficient job flow Willingness to cross-train and assist in operating other equipment to support team coverage and operational efficiency. Essential Functions: Operate horizontal band saws and other cutting equipment to cut metal, plastic, and other materials to specified dimensions.
