Good medical & retirement benefits.

Cons of working at Glaxosmithkline

Poor executive strategy at the C-suite level. No offices. Not enough conference rooms. Hotel-style hot-desking with poor ergonomics. Promotions are discouraged for all employees since ~2008 change in policy, at which time there was a significant reduction in number of grades.

Company emphasis on professional development meant daily touchpoint with mentors as an intern, within the organization.
