Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
Performs expert level break-fix & preventative maintenance. Leads, drives and participates in CI activities--processes, results and cost savings using CI tools and methodology.
Provides assistance to lower level technicians and leadership to project teams. Performs expert functions as a part of training and development.
Troubleshoots and analyzes complex control systems to resolve in-depth software/ hardware and configuration problems.
Utilizes predictive maintenance technologies to collect equipment performance data. Observes trends and makes recommendations.
Updates records and reviews CMMS history and analyzes data.

Knowledge and experience of Boiler System, Ammonia and Freon Chillers, Air Compressors, Glycol and AHU cooling systems, Fire protection system, Air Handling system and Waste Water system.
Perform mechanical, plumbing, piping, and basic electrical repairs
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation within the CMMS
Conduct routine preventive maintenance, including filter changes, belt inspections, lubrication, and system performance tuning.
Support operation and repair of wastewater treatment equipment and maintain potable water systems, pumps, chemical feed systems, valves, and associated piping.
Perform scheduled inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on steam and hot-water boilers.
Troubleshoot system pressures, oil levels, electrical controls, and moisture problems.
Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
Support emergency repair needs and participate in an on-call rotation as required.

Summary
To effectively oversee the management of production equipment and environment and assist with the management of plant facilities and grounds. The Maintenance Supervisor will provide training, coaching, and guidance to functional hourly associates, ensure the proper execution of daily work activities that drive quality, efficiency, safety, service, and cost performance in a manufacturing plant.
Responsibilities
Effectively communicate all maintenance issues to all the team members.
Assists with the orientation and training of new employees.
Manage maintenance activities that occur and report problems with recommendations to the Production and Maintenance teams promptly.
Maintain organization with parts and supplies.
Maintain a preventive maintenance program to ensure that all machinery is working at top performance.
Ensure all safety procedures are being followed (lockout tag-out, Haz-mat, confined space).
Implements safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state and federal Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) rules and regulations.
Regularly inspect equipment and facility and issue work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement as necessary.
Direct, coach, train, and develop front-line employees
Assist with hands on repairs and maintenance of blending, filling and packaging equipment, as required.
Coordinate the installation and testing of new production related equipment.
Assist with facilitymaintenance and facility contractors as necessary.
Understand the facility's Pre-requisite and Food Safety Programs, including but not limited to Food Defense, BBP, Glass, and Brittle Plastic, Chemical Control, GMP, Allergen, Shipping, and Receiving, etc.
Follow established company Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality procedures and policies.
Actively participate in Hazard Mitigation.
Complete assigned Heath & Safety trainings.
Perform other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications

Identify parts of a conveyor and their use.
Identify and master hand, power tools, and equipment, including equipment for rigging and their procedures.
Identify and install above, underground, and specialty piping, hangers and supports, valves and inline specialties.
Execute daily Maintenance plan and any special analysis needed.
Accurately prepare check sheets, log sheets, daily summaries, etc.
Repair and preventive maintenance of equipment.
Maintain area housekeeping in the Maintenance area.
Generate and/or manage hazardous waste, as required.
Attending meetings as required, including shift exchanges.
Complete incident reports, as required.
Perform daily inventories and special inventories, as required.
Perform weekly and monthly checks.
Accurately prepare time sheets.
Additional assignments as deemed necessary by management.
