    The Transportation and Support Professional is responsible for safely operating passenger buses or vans to transport clients to and from medical, dental, and specialty appointments. This role ensures timely pick-up and drop-off, maintains vehicle cleanliness and safety, and accurately logs transportation activities. When appointments are not scheduled, the Transportation and Support Professional support the program by assisting with other program needs. Essential Functions: Core Areas of Responsibility 1. Medical Coordination & Compliance Coordinate and monitor medical, psychiatric, dental, and specialty appointments for individuals in residential services. Ensure transportation is scheduled, staff are assigned, and appointment packets are accurate and complete prior to departure. Confirm that after-visit summaries, orders, recommendations, and documentation are received, communicated, and filed appropriately. Track follow-up actions, physician orders, referrals, labs, and specialist recommendations to ensure completion. Act as a liaison between residential, health services, day supports, and leadership. 2. Medication & Clinical Logistics Deliver medications, medical supplies, clinical documents, and related materials to homes when needed. Assist nursing and residential teams in tracking medication needs, pickup schedules, and delivery coordination. Maintain chain-of-custody protocols for medication or clinical document transfers. Support urgent clinical needs including hospitalizations, discharges, pharmacy coordination, and post-acute follow-up. 3. Residential Operational Support Support Adult Residential leadership with operational tasks requiring on-site presence such as: o Granting property access to auditors, inspectors, vendors, or credentialed partners o Attending site-based meetings, walk-throughs, or regulatory visits when leadership is unavailable o Supporting care continuity during service disruptions Maintain awareness of active clinical priorities across all homes and assist in escalation, communication, and resolution. 4. Hospital & In-Home Support Coverage Support individuals who require supervision or advocacy during hospital stays, medical procedures, or in-home recovery during non-residential hours when assigned. Provide appropriate documentation, communication, and leadership updates during these support periods. 5. Administrative & Operational Enablement Extend operational capacity of the Adult Residential leadership team by coordinating site needs, critical follow-ups, and real-time program support. Represent program operations on location for access needs, scheduled visits, or time-limited engagements requiring delegated leadership presence. Ensure execution of key administrative workflows that support program stability, compliance, and continuity of services. Qualifications Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Minimum 2 years of experience operating a 12-passenger van or bus Valid Alabama Driver's License with an excellent driving record, insurable under the agency's insurance provider Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to successfully pass all required background screenings (drug screen, AFI/FBI fingerprinting, Child Abuse/Neglect Registry, physical agility, etc.) Ability to read maps and follow written and verbal directions. Ability to read, write, and follow instructions accurately. Strong communication skills and the ability to interact respectfully and professionally with individuals, families, and staff. Demonstrated reliability, patience, and sound judgment when working with adults and children with varying behavioral and developmental needs. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. Must be able to apply MCS techniques safely. Market research companies that partner with us will use questionnaires to identify and target certain types of consumers, to ensure that the right participants are engaged and to achieve the representative sample needed. Participation in these product testing and consumer panels is always free, secure and private. In-Home Usage Testing is a quick, easy and fun way to make extra cash by telling big brands what you think about their upcoming products and services in the American market. Main Duties: Properly document In-Home Usage Tests as instructed in the In-Home Usage Test Daily Schedule (screenshots, audio recordings, videos, product journal entries, etc.) Take care of the product being tested and use it responsibly Read and strictly follow the In-Home Usage Test Daily Schedule provided with each product testing project (may include tasks such as unpacking, reading instructions, journal entries, online or mobile feedback, usage of product for a certain amount of time, writing reviews, taking pictures, etc.) Some In-Home Usage Tests projects may require participants to use MFour's Mobile In-Home Use Test Technology (cutting-edge smartphone technology to capture Point-of-Emotion insights to gain unparalleled depth of responses) There are times when the product being tested may be discussed in a private chat room that is opened by a market research firm Write reviews as requested in the In-Home Usage Test Daily Schedule for each project Requirements: Ability to follow specific instructions Excellent attention to detail and curious spirit Be able to work 15-25 hours per week and commit to a certain routine Have access to a computer and a reliable internet connection Have access to a digital camera or cell phone that takes pictures -Be honest and reliable -Good communication skills are an asset -18 years or older A paid Product Tester position is perfect for those looking for an entry-level opportunity, flexible or seasonal work, temporary work or part-time work.
