Duties and Responsibilities:

· Apprehending, physically restraining, or working with law enforcement officials to identify or apprehend violators of state, federal, or immigration laws.
· Proficient in the use of firearms, preparing investigative reports, serving court orders (e.g., warrants, subpoenas, etc.), and gathering evidence for criminal cases prosecuted through the court system.
If you have previous or current law enforcement or military law enforcement experience, you may qualify at the GS-11 grade level.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Mental Health Professional is a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team and provides clinically appropriate services under the clinical direction of the Director of Mental Health. The Mental Health Professional will provide mental health screenings and assessments, clinical watches, treatment groups and individual sessions, as well as other clinically related activities.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide clinical services, including screening, assessment, treatment planning and crisis intervention.
2. Performs individual and group therapeutic counseling.
3. Performs administrative consultations for specialized social services as determined by the specific needs of the institution.
4. Interviews inmates to obtain information concerning medical history, mental health history, or other pertinent information.
5. Observes inmates to detect indications of abnormal behavior.
6. Reviews results of tests, treatment plans and treatment cases with the behavioral health team to evaluate client needs and implement treatment.
7. Coordinates psychiatry services, which includes but is not limited to tracking and triaging patients' requests or staff referrals for psychotropic meds; administrative duties for psychiatry visits; tracking psychiatry services provided including signed consents and obtaining refusals.
8. Plans and administers therapeutic treatment such as counseling, behavior modification and psychosocial education to assist inmates in managing their mental disorders and other interpersonal or environmental problems.
9. Discusses progress toward treatment goals with inmates and ensures that the treatment plan is completed in a timely manner, adhered to as the barometer for treatment and is reflected in the progress notes.
10. Consults with behavioral health team concerning treatment plan and amends plan as described

Physician Assistant
• Master's degree from an ARC-PA approved Physician Assistant program OR bachelor's degree with ten years of current active Physician Assistant experience and approval from the Director of the Office of Advanced Practice OR if bachelor's degree with less than ten years current active experience sign a written agreement consenting to obtain a Master's degree from an ARC-PA approved Physician Assistant program within three years from date of transfer or hire and approval from the Director of the Office of Advanced Practice required.
• Ability to maintain Continuing Medical Education (CME) hours to meet State of Nebraska and NCCPA Certification by the National Commission of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) [Or if new graduate, eligible for certification and certification completed prior to beginning to provide care] required.
• Currently licensed as a Physician Assistant in the State of Nebraska (or eligible for license prior to beginning to provide care) required.
Both Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant
• Ability to function with autonomy and able to make independent decisions while functioning as part of a comprehensive team required.
• Ability to effectively communicate in verbal and written forms required.
• Ability to provide critical thinking and analytical skills required.
• Efficient use of information systems, data processing systems, telecommunication devices, office equipment, and audiovisual teaching/education resources required.
• Ability to comprehend and follow policy, procedure, guidelines and protocols required.
• Flexibility and dedication to team involvement and supporting organizational goals required.
• Familiar with patient care equipment as appropriate to specialty area required.
• Knowledge of health care policy and societal factors affecting the delivery of care required.
• Federal Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) licensure required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, must be from an American Heart Association endorsed program upon first renewal.
Adult Inpatient
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required, must be from an American Heart Association endorsed program upon first renewal.
Pediatric Inpatient
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required, must be from an American Heart Association endorsed program upon first renewal.
Preferred Qualifications: APP Surgical Care - Liver Transplant
Nurse Practitioner
Adults
Adult Gerontology Acute Care (AGACNP-BC) certification preferred.

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Heartland Family Service is seeking a Data Evaluator to support our Behavioral Health services. The Evaluator will partner with internal and external resources to oversee critical components of program evaluation including design, assessment development and selection, participant sampling, data collection, data analysis, and dissemination of results.
Compensation: between $42,200 and $53,387 per year (salary is based upon total years of relevant experience)
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in Public Health, Psychology, business administration, or related field (completed or in progress)preferred.
Specific knowledge of program evaluation, behavioral health, public health, or epidemiology preferred.
Project management experience including collaboratively defining milestones, setting deadlines, delegating tasks, coordinating project meetings, and ensuring on time completion of work.
Solid communication and presentation skills; ability to explain complex analyses and compelling insights to a non-technical audience.
Experience consulting and/or collaborating with stakeholders or leaders in a professional manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design and implement comprehensive program evaluation that will assess the effectiveness of HFS' behavioral health services.
Develop and manage project plans by collaboratively defining milestones, setting deadlines, delegating tasks, coordinating project meetings, and ensuring on time completion of work.
Oversee the selection, development, and implementation of surveys and assessments.
Monitor data collection measures for CCBHC
Guide best practice around workflows and assessment tool fidelity.
Aid in the collection of data across program sites and communities to ensure data is collected in a reliable and valid manner.
Report out on data collected by front line staff to external partners.
Assist in the development, maintenance, and monitoring of a dashboard of key performance and quality metrics used to support program operations and evaluation.
Determine strategies to analyze and interpret collected data ensuring that the analyses are appropriate to each research question.
Create deliverables of study results (e.g., reports, presentations) ensuring that findings and insights are presented in a clear and consumable manner.
Present project findings to team members, stakeholders, and other interested parties.
Create, maintain and share as appropriate a dynamic self-care plan.
Strive to make connections between the agency and the larger community whenever possible in order to contribute to the agency's ongoing fundraising and friend-raising efforts.
