Job Title: MCC Supervisor Department: MCC Reports to: Sr. Manager of Maintenance Control / Assistant DOM The MCC Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operational oversight and coordination of aircraft maintenance activities during active operations, ensuring aircraft are maintained in accordance with Company policies, FAA regulations, CFRs, OEM maintenance programs, and safety standards. Supporting real-time maintenance decision-making, aircraft status monitoring, and interdepartmental coordination. The MCC Supervisor assists in supervising MCC personnel, managing daily workflows, and escalating operational or compliance concerns as appropriate. The MCC Supervisor plays a critical hands-on role in maintaining continuous airworthiness, minimizing maintenance-related disruptions, and supporting safe, reliable operations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Operational Oversight Monitor aircraft status and coordinate maintenance activities during daily operations. Assist in managing maintenance-related delays, cancellations, and recovery efforts. Support accurate management of MEL, CDL, and NEF processes, ensuring proper documentation and compliance. Coordinate with Dispatch, Line Maintenance, Planning, Materials, and Quality to resolve maintenance issues affecting aircraft release. Escalate safety, compliance, or operational concerns to the MCC Manager as required. Maintenance Control Functions Assist in ensuring overnight and daily maintenance checks are properly assigned and coordinated. Monitor and maintain maintenance tracking systems (e.g., TRAX / FMIS) for accuracy and timeliness. Review completed maintenance documentation and support timely correction of discrepancies. Support One-Time On-Call Maintenance events and ensure required documentation is completed. Assist in monitoring Maintenance Reliability Reports generated by MCC personnel. Supervision & Team Support Provide day-to-day guidance to assigned MCC personnel. Assist with shift coordination, workload distribution, and operational coverage. Support training, onboarding, and recurrent training activities for MCC staff. Reinforce company policies, procedures, and safety practices within the MCC team. Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to safe work practices. Compliance & Continuous Improvement Assist in departmental self-audits and corrective action tracking. Support evaluations of maintenance control procedures and recommend improvements to the MCC Manager. Participate in Reliability or operational review meetings as directed. Support Management of Change (MOC) processes when procedural or operational changes are required. Reporting & Communication Assist in preparing daily maintenance summaries, shift turnover notes, and operational reports. Maintain clear and professional communication across Technical Operations departments. Perform other duties as assigned by the MCC Manager or Director of Maintenance. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 3-5 years of airline maintenance experience (Line Maintenance, Heavy Maintenance, or Maintenance Control) Minimum 1-2 years of Maintenance Control experience Prior lead, supervisory, or acting supervisory experience preferred Working knowledge of airline maintenance operations Working knowledge of Airbus A320 family aircraft preferred Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and escalate issues appropriately FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification preferred (or required, per company standard) OFFICE HOURS AND SCHEDULE This is a full-time, on-site position operating on a 4-on / 4-off, 12-hour rotating shift schedule, which may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Flexibility is required to support irregular operations, AOG events, and maintenance escalations. Occasional travel may be required. The Stores area is restricted to unauthorized personnel. The Materials Administrator will authorize access. Ensure proper information is entered into the material computer system. Maintain a system of aircraft material records to satisfy CFR and company requirements. Execute purchase orders after receipt of duly authorized requisitions. Establish and control expendable, repairable and rotable inventory levels to ensure proper balance and coverage to support company schedule.Continually review parts inventories at Main Base and all stations for required levels and adjust as necessary. Project, monitor and control inventory investment, service levels and other key parameters Prepare monthly listings on leased inventories for computation of lease charges. Prepare detailed and accurate Inventory Reports. Alert company management of critical parts shortages. Repair of repairable and rotable components by vendors. Maintain current status of all major components out for repair, their locations, turn time, and availability. Buy/borrow or loan items to or from other airlines. Ensure shipping and receiving of parts and supplies is carried out properly and efficiently, with emphasis on HAZMAT recognition. Any damaged parts must be documented on a damage report and advice the VPTO (DOM). Coordinate with Chief Inspector regarding receiving inspections of incoming material. Assure that no parts intended for aircraft use are issued or placed in stock without the required inspection. Evaluate Technical Operations procedures for effectiveness and recommend revisions as necessary by completing a Management of Change (MOC) per MPP 11.12.3. Administer SOSP program Ref: GMM Ch 16. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Prepare the Dispatch Release for each flight between specified points as assigned for Domestic/ Flag, is jointly responsible with the captain for the operational control of the flight For Supplemental Operations, dispatchers have been delegated the authority to perform the following functions: Monitor the progress of each flight from place of origin to the place of destination, including intermediate stops and diversions Issue necessary information for the safety of flight Cancel or re-release a flight if, in their opinion or the opinion of the Captain or VPFO (DO), the flight cannot operate or continue to operate safely as planned or released Maintain current information concerning restricted areas and navigational facilities pertinent to those routes over which they release flights and advise the captain as necessary Ensure compliance with all flight planning and flight filing requirements for special areas of navigation including RVSM Provide the Captain all available current reports and information concerning airport conditions or adverse weather phenomena, such as clear air turbulence, thunderstorms, volcanic ash, low altitude wind shear, etc., for each route to be flown and each airport to be used Ensure the two-way communications system between the OCC and the aircraft, as provided by the Company, is available for all points along the legs for which the aircraft is to be released, and aircraft-to-ATC communications are also available to control the anticipated operation Aid with flight-associated emergencies and exercise emergency authority if required. TITLE: Fleet Manager REPORTS TO: Director of Quality (Chief Inspector) At Global Crossing Airlines, the Fleet Manager plays a critical leadership role in ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft fleet under 14 CFR Part 121. This position provides strategic and operational oversight of fleet performance, maintenance programs and regulatory compliance. Document and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs. · FAA Certificated Mechanic possessing Airframe and Powerplant ratings Plan, organize, direct, coordinate, control and influence a multi-functional organization for Maintenance Control to ensure activities are accomplished in accordance with Company policies, FARs, Company and OEM Maintenance Programs and other governmental regulations. Coordinate and administer timely ordering and shipment of aircraft parts and equipment to support out of service aircraft. Has authority to remove any aircraft from operational service for reasons of safety or issues with the Maintenance Program Monitor aircraft status, taking appropriate action when maintenance problems arise or when it is anticipated that daily operations will be affected. Coordinate with the Dispatchers concerning MCC/OCC issues and maintenance problems that affect releasing of aircraft. Ensure maintenance assigned the correct checks for the overnight aircraft and coordinates with the Dispatchers on the checks required during the day operation. Monitor, report and maintain TRAX for Company maintenance operations. Monitor and control all Maintenance Reliability Reports provided by MCC personnel.
