1994

Since their founding in 1994, Global Imaging Systems has acquired more than 100 businesses within the United States.

1998

500’s "Fastest growing private companies in America." In 1998, DBP was acquired by Global Imaging Systems (GISX).

1999

In March 1999, Global announced that it had acquired Dahill Industries, bringing its total number of acquisitions to 32.

2001

Although it seemed to have a strong foothold in the industry, the company was still heavily leveraged, with the debt-to-equity ratio being almost 70 percent, according to a July 2001 Investor's Business Daily article.

In 2001, that middle ground made up 45 percent of the entire market. "Global's largest target customer might have $1 billion in sales and a couple thousand employees.

By 2001, Global had acquired 50 companies, but was dealing with the aftermath of four straight quarters of earnings declines.

2002

In May 2002, Global was able to announce record-high earnings once again.

In the spring of 2002, Tom Johnson brought his managers and top sales and service associates together in order to unveil a new theme.

2003

Column Office Equipment and DBP joined to create Chicago Office Technology Group in 2003.

2004

The spring of 2004 brought the acquisition of Imagine Technology Group, Inc., the company's largest acquisition to date.

Global also reported in 2004 that it had reached an 18 percent increase in revenues, bringing its revenues to a record $212 million for the first quarter.

2006

Global's 2006 fiscal year started strong with the acquisition of Scottsboro Business Equipment.

2007

In 2007, Xerox purchased our parent company, Global Imaging as a wholly-owned subsidiary.

Michigan Office Solutions was formed in 2007 encompassing the WS Reed Company employees and CEC employees.

2009

In 2009 ComDoc was purchased by Xerox Business Solutions a Xerox company.

2010

Founded in 2010, Global’s brand of alternative inks can save you up to 50% in annual ink costs and are formulated for use in some of the most popular wide and superwide format printers.

2020
