Key Responsibilities
* Ensure clear communications with other shifts in the warehouse and office personnel as needed.
* Assist the supervisor with the security and safety of the warehouse, the inventory and our associates.
* Assist and direct staff in the day to day operation of the warehouse.
* Allocate, release and assign sales orders to the appropriate staff.
* Assists the staff in troubleshooting and problem resolution.
* Handle expedite requests from customer service.
* Assume day to day operational responsibility in the absence of the supervisor.

Work in coordination with the Manager and other coworkers to ensure that all jobs are welded to the specifications of each job and meets the outlined requirements.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operating equipment using safe work habits.
Inspect welds and work pieces to acceptance of the standard they are working to.
Measure work pieces with straight edges, tape measure, scale, or templates to ensure proper fit.
Weld steel, stainless steel, aluminum, invar or other specified alloys per their qualifications and the applicable WPS.
Clamping, holding, tack-welding, bracing, grinding or bolting component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding.
Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
Lift or move materials and finished products using overhead cranes / hi-lo
Able to read drawings and weld symbols
Maintains continuity among work shifts by adhering to required documentation and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma/GED, certificate in Machine Tool Technology or equivalent work experience
