Akhtar has more than 20 years of management, outsourcing, and healthcare and information technology consulting experience. As president, CEO, and founder of Virtelligence, Akhtar is the company’s entrepreneurial life force. His vision and thought leadership has been central to developing a client focused, results-driven consulting firm. As a key solution delivery team leader for the firm, he provides a hands-on technical approach and delivery assurance for enterprise business solutions. Prior to founding Virtelligence, Akhtar worked as an experienced manager for Accenture’s Global Solution Delivery Group (GSD), where he assisted in establishing the Global Solution Delivery Center for Accenture’s Enterprise Business Solutions (EBS) practice. He also worked as an e-Solutions Practice leader for Keane for their Mid- West Region, an Application Outsourcing and Project Management company. Akhtar’s management experience at Fortune 500 companies including United Healthcare and as CIO at a local hospital, have provided him with a strong business acumen and distinct understanding of client service.
