Global University history

These ventures funded the work of missions and supported the college. It was sold in 2003 to Baker Book House.

In 2004, Kaplan College expanded its academic offerings to include master’s-level programs and became Kaplan University.

In 2007, Friends World was renamed Global College and a new bachelor’s degree curriculum in global studies was introduced.

In 2009, the Hagerstown campus, formerly a Kaplan College campus, became a branch campus of Kaplan University.

With this expansion, some of the GHL’s programming has moved from Princeton's Department of History, where the GHL was founded in 2012, to the Princeton Institute for International and Regional Studies(link is external) (PIIRS).

The Christian Montessori Training Center (CMTC) was founded in 2014 in conjunction with Bethany Global University in Bloomington, MN, USA and Hand In Hand Christian Montessori, in Roseville, MN and Lab Campus in Bloomington, MN.

Selected as an Outstanding Counselling Institution in 2018 (Program field) by the Council of Student Life Counselling Centres of National Universities

Selected for 'the Project for Strengthening Professional Personnel in Industrial Field 2019' (In the field of laser-photosynthesis)
