For this full-time position, individuals must be reliable, willing to work overtime and willing to cross train. Machine operators will report directly to our Production Supervisors. Summary/Objective This position ensures the set up and quality of products through thorough assessment and analyses using specific procedural standards. RESPONSIBILITIES:. Grain Etch parts using acids in tank. Verification of parts to paperwork. Load/Unload parts per PEI. Soak parts in acids and rinse properly with water. Operate power washing equipment. Hand dry parts or operate automatic parts washer. Communicate issues with Waste Water Department and Level II Inspector. Monitor acid tank levels and schedule change-outs. Perform daily gage audits on acid tanks. Record all work performed in Lot Control. Perform other duties in department as assigned by Supervision. Keep the work area in a clean, orderly and safe working condition. Follow all safety rules. Comply with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures. Perform all other duties assigned by supervision. QUALIFICATIONS: Pay close attention to detail. Must have good attendance record. No written or higher warnings for quality or attendance. Must show ability to follow detailed procedures reliably.
