Cons of working at GMR Marketing

The parent company, Omnicom, has destroyed this company and has made it no different than any other corporate job. If you want creative autonomy and want to make a good salary, don't come here. They treat you like you're expendable and don't care about you. It's all about the bottom line. If you don't take their "mandatory" trainings, including DEI trainings they will not give you a raise because you didn't take 6 DEI trainings throughout the year. Well if you work on client work with tight deadlines, that's not possible, but they don't care. I've been here for almost 10 years and I've completely stopped going above and beyond to make clients happy. I stopped caring when I realized that they are taking advantage of me and my work ethic.

Pros of working at GMR Marketing

Pre-COVID too many to mention, Post-COVID nothing.

GMR Marketing benefits

I guess because I can work remotely and allow them to save money maintaining 2 separate buildings, yet I don't get any financial benefit from it.

What do you like best about GMR Marketing's CEO and the leadership team?

Nothing, they just do their best to make Omnicom happy by making money and screwing their employees by pointless re-organizations and firing essential employees that they deem "overpaid" in a cost saving measure for the parent company.

How would you improve GMR Marketing's culture?

There isn't any company culture since COVID.

How did you prepare for the GMR Marketing interview?

I didn't.

How does your compensation at GMR Marketing compare to the industry average?

My compensation is sub-par compared to industry average because GMR Marketing takes advantage of their employees

What's the diversity at GMR Marketing like?

I don't care. DEI is pointless. It should only be based on skills, knowledge, and talent. Not to make sure everything is diverse or inclusive. Then hold it against anyone that doesn't care about their policies.

What brings you the most joy at GMR Marketing?

The fact that the work I do is pointless and I can easily get it done because I'm surrounded by idiots.
