Job Summary:
Material Handler I is responsible for operating all energized and non-energized Forklift and Palletizing equipment including Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, Floor Scrubber, Palletizing Robot and shrink wrap machines. Ensure efficient operation of equipment as well as maintaining all paperwork accurately. Follow written and verbal instructions to ensure quality and efficiency standards are being met. Assume responsibility for safety, quality and effective communication relevant to shift and plant performance
Essential Functions of the Job:
Responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack and count product.
Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped per load sheets in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards
Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers
Operate and be accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle
Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations
Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage, reporting any quality variances
Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that inventory control and security are maintained.
Assist in physical inventories and proper stock rotation
Maintain all forklift inspection prior to shift with accurate documentation
Conducts required quality checks to assure standards are met.
Maintain clean and organized area around equipment
Maintains communications within production team ensuring smooth shift transitions, etc.
Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties involving area equipment
Pick and load outbound trucks as per paperwork
Unload and put away inbound trucks
Support mechanics in appropriate maintenance activities.
Monitor raw packaging material and supplies to ensure it is supplied in an efficient manor to support production.
Maintain ingredients and material in a First In First Out basis (FIFO)
Relieve other production team members for breaks and absences as required
Accurately prepares and maintains all area paperwork
Complies with Good manufacturing practices

PURPOSE
As a Material Handler II, you are integral to ensuring the compliant and safe receiving, handling, storage, shipping, and inventory control of all materials at the Berkeley site. YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role are to:
Receive, pack, and ship raw materials, intermediates, final products, dangerous goods, and non-inventory managed items in full compliance with cGMP SOPs.
Handle, transfer, and store all materials safely and compliantly, maintaining appropriate storage conditions.
Perform inventory cycle counts of raw materials and intermediates, reconciling inventory against SAP printouts and reporting discrepancies.
Maintain exceptional housekeeping in warehouse ambient, cold rooms, and freezer storage areas according to cGMP requirements.
Interact closely with QA, QC, Production, Logistics, and Supply Chain to ensure proper documentation and SAP transactions for all material receipts, transfers, storage, and shipments.
Coordinate with QA and the Inventory Team for the removal or segregation of expired/rejected materials in compliance with SOP requirements.

WHO YOU ARE

OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Supplies Production with pre-staged material from incoming production trailers.
Responsibility to work and act safely in accordance with all policies.
Monitors the accuracy of the material flow process as it relates to WMS.
Inventory Control of all material being used in WMS as it is used.
Works with Production Supervisors/Team Members to ensure current material requirements are correct.
Ensures all material being used by production reflects accurately in WMS.
Keeps management informed of any material issues.
Prioritizes the production needs and readies necessary ingredients and packaging.
Ensure all partially used materials reflect accurate quantities in WMS before being returned to inventory.
Tracking material variance against master production pull sheet, PCED or MDE with material adjusted manually on spec sheets.
Tracking specific items to be determined at a later time.
Responsibility to work and act safely in accordance to all policies, procedures, and best practices with specific adherence to proper ergonomics, GMPs, food safety, use of machinery, chemical safety, forklift procedures, basic facility awareness.
Responsibility to report safety hazards to people or product and comply with all Good Manufacturing Practices
Real time WMS auditing/training of material being used within the production department.
Cycle count raw and finished goods when time allows or assistance as needed.
JBA comparison with WMS for future reconciliation by the proper team member.
Keep scan rate report at or above 98% goal rate.
Other duties as assigned by Management.
All employees must keep area clean and be responsible for cleaning during down time, during changeovers and at the end of a shift. Clean as you go to maintain cleanliness.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Restock Driver will be responsible for retrieving inventory from both floor locations and up-stock storage for Product Transfers and deliver to the designated area for stocking or shipment. * Operate material handling equipment needed to perform primary role i.e; Forklift, Cherry Picker, Reach Truck, Stock Chaser (Cart), Pallet jack, Scanners, Tablets and Company WMS.
* Perform and complete daily safety inspection check list for all equipment used.
* Maintain productivity minimum requirements CPH, and work with a sense of urgency
* Retrieve inventory from up-stock and floor locations and deliver to designated areas

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Load, unload, stock tires and auto parts in a fast-paced warehouse environment using industrial vehicles such as a forklift or picker equipment
Use scanners to find and put away tires and assist with inventory control
You can expect to lift 50 pounds consistently throughout your shift and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds. When lifting commercial tires you will do team lifts or use mechanical equipment.
When working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires you will need to be able to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds
Some of our stock racks are 25 feet tall, so you must be comfortable working at those heights safely while operating equipment.
Be on the move. You should be willing and able to work on your feet for extended periods of time and work overtime as needed

May assist other departments, such as ecomm, inventory, and will call depending on business needs
Driving
Drive a box truck under 26,001 pounds or other vehicles during one of our many routes while making 10-20 deliveries/day deliveries

Make on time deliveries at our customer's locations while in a safe, punctual manner in all weather conditions
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle you're driving for the day
