Overall Scope: The Member Experience Team Member will greet and direct members, guests and staff as they enter the gym and provide control of the front door location. This position will provide assistance to members' requests along with inquiries about gym operations and policies as well as perform various administrative duties as directed by the Gym General Manager or Assistant General Manager.
Major Responsibilities:
Enthusiastically greets each members and guests promptly using the proper greeting for time of day to create a friendly positive entrance and departure to and from the gym.
Provides security and control to the front door and retail area of the facility.
Personally checks each member into the gym using the proper check-in procedures.
Monitor check-ins to identify delinquent accounts and notifies Gym Operations Supervisor.
Register all guests into the gym using proper registration procedures.
Ensures that guests and appointments are directed to the appropriate fitness consultant in a prompt, professional manner.
Answers phone by the third ring in a professional and courteous manner and uses proper phone greeting techniques.
Addresses caller's requests and/or takes appropriate messages noting caller's name.
Registers all telephone inquiries in the script pad and in the Master Production Binder and transfers the call to the appropriate Fitness Consultants.
Responsible for following up on telephone inquiries to ensure that the appointment was booked properly.
Responds immediately to member requests, inquiries and concerns.
Maintain neat appearance and wear proper uniform attire with nametag while on duty.
Distributes keys, towels and other materials as needed.
Reserves time/makes appointments for special classes or other activities sponsored by the gym.
Processes retail and concession sales.
Attends all staff meetings as directed.
Cleans and maintains the Member Experience Team Member area according to Company standards.
Responsible for gym walk-thru as designated in walk-thru log.
Follow proper opening and closing procedures as instructed in the FDA training manual.
Logs all maintenance concerns that are reported.
Follows and reports any safety concerns.
Notifies management of gym incidents that requires incident reports.
Works when scheduled and adheres to company attendance policies.
Performs other reasonable work assignments as directed by the Gym General Manager and/or Operations Supervisor to include but not limited to light cleaning and picking up of weights.
Qualifications and Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Excellent customer service skills are required.
Ability to communicate effectively with both staff and members.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally, non-verbally and in writing is required
Understanding of basic accounting principles is required.
Understanding of basic cash processing procedures is required.
Functional computer skills are required.
Ability to multi-task.
Must be able to work a flexible work schedule to include holidays and weekends.
Must be able to lift 25lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods of time

After completion of the Equinox Cycle Pro Program, there is a final audition for the position of cycling instructor. That position entails the following responsibilities:
Deliver the Equinox Experience to our members in each class;
Adhere to the description of the class and modify the intensity for participants when necessary;
Continuously monitor the exercise intensity throughout the duration of the class;
Ensure class begins and ends on time;
Assist Members with technical/mechanical support on the bike to maximize their experience
Teach respective classes on a regular basis and keep subbing to a minimum;
Communicate with Group Fitness Manager on member feedback, equipment and operational status, scheduling, and subbing;
Qualifications
The successful candidate should have the following experience and qualifications:
Must possess a current cycling certification; This certification is not required to audition for The Equinox Cycle Pro Program, but must be completed prior to teaching (Schwinn or Stages indoor cycling certifications are highly recommended)
Must possess and maintain current CPR/AED certification;
Must be well-versed in basic anatomy, kinesiology, contraindicated exercises, exercise modifications for all populations and ACSM Guidelines for frequency, intensity, duration, and mode;
Must be eager to learn and continue professional development and education;
Must be friendly, vibrant, and outgoing;
PAY TRANSPARENCY
$65-$75/class; or $17.95/hr (non-class work)

Job Description
SoulCycle is seeking an Assistant Studio Manager who will contribute to the company growth by expertly and efficiently managing their studio and leading their studio team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the SoulCycle culture and brand. This person will be interpersonally savvy with strong organizational abilities, a customer focus and will be able to creatively problem solve and learn on the fly. This person embodies integrity, confidence, is a role model, is bold, and is responsible for and the success and health of the studio's daily operations.

The Fitness Consultant is responsible for promoting and selling memberships to potential new members and selling renewals/upgrades to current gym members. Major Responsibilities: * Generates sales through Company-sponsored (walk-ins and TI's) and employee sponsored (outreach and promotions).
* Maintains accurate records of all Company-sponsored and employee-sponsored.
* Follows up on all prospects by using established Gold's Gym sales systems.
* Conducts gym tours using established Gold's Gym sales systems.
* Conducts telephone inquiries using established Gold's Gym sales systems.
* Establishes and maintains a minimum of 10 lead boxes/bowls in the community on a monthly basis.
* Must establish and maintain a minimum required referral program as defined by Gold's Gym Company standards.
* Maintain FC planner using established sales systems.
* Must be current on Gold's Gym Company pricing and promotion schedule.
* Maintains information on club history, background, philosophy, facilities, staff and policies.
* Has a thorough knowledge of, adheres to, and enforces Company policies and procedures as they pertain to gym operations.
* Assumes responsibility for developing selling skills.
* Prepares for, attends and actively participates in sales meetings.
* Maintains a positive relationship with the rest of the staff. Supports other staff in achieving their goals
* Participates in all scheduled meetings as directed by the General Manager or Assistant General Manager.
* Successfully completes the FC Training courses.
Qualifications & Requirements:
* High school diploma and some college course completion required. College degree, either Associate or Bachelor's preferred.
* Excellent sales, communication and customer service skills.
* Must be able to successfully pass all testing requirements including gym tours, telephone inquiry, counselor planner audit, guest card audit, lead box/bowl program, referral program and corporate outreach program.
* Ability to achieve acceptable level of units per month.
* Thorough understanding of Gold's Gym's membership sales systems.
* Demonstrated understanding of the Daily Sales Stat report and its contents.
* Basic computer skills.
* Current CPR Certification
