The Assistant Manager will be responsible for assisting in the oversight of gym operations to ensure an exceptional “Judgement Free” member experience as well as a financially successful club. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing a high performing staff consisting of Member Service Representatives, Trainers and Custodians. The Lead Service Specialist (LSS) is responsible for greeting and checking in members and guests as they enter the club. The LSS will answer phones and sell retail products at the front desk. The LSS will tour prospective members through the club and make sales presentations for both membership and personal training agreements. The LSS will assist the Club Manager (CM) with updating member information, collecting member debt, and maintaining a professional and welcoming environment at the club.
