Incorporated in 1974, Goldbelt was organized under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA) as the urban corporation representing the Juneau area, though shareholders have family roots throughout Southeast Alaska’s vibrant Tlingit community.
In 1980, Metcalfe began a decades-long career as an independent communications specialist, producing video documentaries and publications.
1996 year the Goldbelt Tram opened
In 2000, Goldbelt Inc. began forming subsidiaries to do business with the federal government.
Goldbelt Wolf was formed in 2007.
Goldbelt Falcon graduated from the SBA 8(a) Program in 2014 and is a mid-sized business with more than 150 employees operating across the US and overseas, performing on many contracts, tasks and subcontracts.
