    As the PT's Bartender, you will mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures. As the primary face of the bar, you will deliver exceptional, authentic guest service and create an atmosphere of excitement that is compelling for guests. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: * Greet guests in an upbeat and positive manner * Enthusiastically demonstrate knowledge of beer, spirits, and wines * Uses non-intrusive suggestive selling techniques to sell beverages and food items at the bar * Demonstrate knowledge of menu items, including house specials, item descriptions, ingredients and preparation techniques * Take beverage and food orders according to service standards * Serve and replenish drinks in a timely manner, offers refills or new drink when the glass is approximately half full * Input orders accurately into POS system using the Universal Seating guidelines * Resolve guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction and communicates situation to management * Explain to guests how the players club card entitles them to special benefits including cash back, cash coupons, special promotions, offerings, enroll and create new member accounts * Maintain knowledge of event calendar and be familiar with current activities/offerings and all Casino/Hotel current promotions etc. * Print cash and/or comp vouchers from CMS, reprint player cards from CMS, issue pin code numbers from CDS, enroll new players for new player incentives * Issue jackpot payouts and cash-outs for gaming players * Enter jackpot data information in the computer system accurately * Accept payment for check from the guests, settle using approved method, and tender change or receipts back to guest, ensuring all required signatures are obtained * Extend courteous departures as guests leave and invites them to return * Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas * Ensure all food is served within health, safety, and sanitation guidelines * Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position * Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards * Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: Qualifications * 1 year experience working in a full service tavern or bar environment * Knowledge of beers, spirits, and wines * Must be comfortable with self-banking * Must be team-oriented * Experience with gaming preferred * Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm in a very high-paced, busy environment * Previous experience exercising sound judgment when dealing with difficult guest situations * Proven experience providing high level of guest service * Previous experience with point-of-sales systems, computers and calculators * At least 21 Years of Age * High School Diploma or equivalent required * Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal * Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company * Verify right to work in the United States Work Cards * Food Handlers Card * Alcohol Awareness Card * Nevada Gaming Registration Physical Requirements * Frequently push/pull up to 50lbs. * Frequently lift and/or carry up to 50lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels * Frequently Squat, kneel, reach, bend, and twist * Regularly standing and walking * Ability to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephone * Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in person * Ability to distinguish between shades of color * Ability to tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity Work Environment Potential Conditions * Indoor * Smoky * Noisy * Bright flashing lights * Extreme hot & cold temperatures * Slippery surfaces * Exposure to dust, fumes and/or gases Disclaimer The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Responsible for the highest level of guest service while observing responsible beverage service. * Provide requested beverage cocktail and/or recipe preparation and delivery cordially to guests and/or beverage servers. * Mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures. * Maintains cleanliness and hygiene of work area, bar tops, floors and line equipment. * Receives, issues and keeps necessary records of liquor and other bar supplies. * Refills and stocks garnishes and glassware. * Follows cash handling and Info Genesis POS procedures. * Follows cash and comp procedures. * Maintain stocked supplies and cleanliness of assigned outlet. * Perform any other duties as assigned by management. * Provide outstanding guest service to all internal and external guests Requirements: Job Specifications - Qualifications * At least one year of previous experience in a high-volume bar and qualification for a bartender position. * Excellent communication and guest service skills. * Ability to handle a cash bank. * Basic mathematical skills required to effectively tender guest checks, provide change and for cash bank accuracy. * Must have a working knowledge of POS system, liquor/soda guns and mixology. * Must be at least 21 years of age. * Ability to abide by company policies procedures and/or State and Federal laws and regulations in relation to health, safety, sanitation and presence of minors in gaming areas. * Must be able to obtain and maintain all cards required by the company. * Must be able to verify right to work in the U.S. Working Conditions - Physical Requirements * Walking, standing or stooping (80% of the time). * Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling or otherwise moving objects weighing up to 50 lbs. * Vision, hearing, speech and literacy (critical). * Must have the ability to read labels and identify products and/or uses.
