    Golden Pass LNG, a joint venture of Qatar Energy & ExxonMobil, has an exciting opportunity for Maintenance Technicians at our Sabine Pass, TX location (approximately 10 minutes from Port Arthur, TX). We are looking for team members that have a proven track record of providing support, have strong intrapersonal and communication skills, and are self-motivated and self-directed to be a part of our transformation from an import facility to the premier LNG exporter in North America. The Instrument and Controls Maintenance Technician ("I&C Technician") will be responsible for performing all work as required for maintaining a safe, efficient and environmentally sound operation of an LNG facility. The I&C Technician is a liaison with internal and external parties and will interface directly with Operations Supervision, Managers, Engineers, Maintenance Technicians, Operators, Contractors, and Vendors and uphold and ensure compliance with HSE and compliance standards for performance and behavior. The Maintenance Technician - Instrument and Controls is a DOT covered position (PHMSA) Essential Duties / Functions * Ensure that all test equipment is calibrated and maintained in good order. * Responsible for the evaluation and correctness of all technical data from the client. * Maintain facility instrumentation to provide the best reliability. * Perform loop check according to the ILD. * Work on PLCs, DCS Yokogawa and Emerson Delta V field equipment, smart instruments and foundation fieldbus. * Able to tune field controllers, adjustment P&ID setting and tune the loop. * Troubleshoot and fault-find control loops. * Maintain all test records for both calibrations and loop checks to QC. * Ensure all corrections are redlined on specification sheets and drawings. * Conduct work group/safety toolbox briefings. * Report any defects or inspections reports to Maintenance Supervisor and record all relevant information in logs and computerized maintenance management system. * Proactively ensure all work is conducted in full compliance with the Safety Management System, including safety regulations and positively support all safety initiatives and improvements. * Ensure the maintenance and records of safety critical elements are maintained as part of all Maintenance activities. * Actively participate in all aspects of maintenance activities and provide input in meetings, planning, and strategy development and reviews. * Perform inspections in accordance with plant safety, federal and state regulations to ensure compliance. * Ability to maintain qualifications and operate all support equipment required in the performance of daily duties. * Maintain notification and work orders, initiate material reservation, technical report, and time confirmation in computerized maintenance management system. * Complete LOTO procedure on equipment to assure equipment is inoperable and safe to work on. Minimum education required of the position * High School Diploma or GED * Bachelor or Associate degree or relevant technical discipline or equivalent work experience Minimum experience required of the position * 3+ years of related Instrument and Controls maintenance experience in petroleum or chemical manufacturing facility is required with experience in an LNG facility preferred. * Working knowledge of plant installations and specifications with experience in accepted industry procedures, safety, and environmental policies. * Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to details. * Experience with cryogenic refrigeration, gas processing, and/or steam preferred. * Experience with Emerson Delta V preferred. We are looking for team members that have a proven track record of providing support, have strong intrapersonal and communication skills, and are self-motivated and self-directed to be a part of our transformation from an import facility to the premier LNG exporter in North America. The Mechanical Supervisor will be responsible for Leading and Supervising all work as required for maintaining a safe, efficient, and environmentally sound operation of an LNG facility. The Mechanical Supervisor is a leader for the Mechanical maintenance team and all outside general contractors supporting mechanical work. This will range from 50 to 200+ craftsmen depending on contractor demand. This role will also be liaison with internal and external parties and will interface directly with Operations Supervision, Managers, Engineers, Maintenance Technicians, Maintenance Specialists, Operators, Contractors, and Vendors and uphold and ensure compliance with SSHE&R and compliance standards for performance and behavior. The Mechanical Supervisor is a DOT covered position (PHMSA). Essential Duties / * Field Execution Leadership / Safety & Quality Assurance * Supervise daily mechanical maintenance activities, ensuring crews understand scope, procedures, SSHE requirements, and quality standards. * Conduct and support technicians leading pre-job briefings, site walkdowns, and post-job debriefs to align expectations and capture lessons learned * Enforce proper use of LOTO, work permits, JSAs, and safety-critical procedures during all field tasks.
