Responsibilities * Develop practical solutions to problems without sacrificing quality * Meet the department's daily, weekly, and monthly goals of the distribution center * Achieve high performance standards while coaching and training employees on the best practices of our business * Analyze opportunities for growth, cutting costs, reducing damages, and improving efficiencies * Continually improve productivity targets and process improvements * Lead employees to fulfil their potential Physical Requirements * Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 12 hours/day. * Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing. * Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations. * Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching. * Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 75lbs. Working Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. Occasional activities may involve exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, as well as exposure to dust, fumes, and gases. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The passage of employees through the work area is average and normal. Qualifications Experience * 1-2 years of leadership experience working with a team of more than 15 employees preferred * Experience working in a distribution environment preferred, but not required. Education * This role does not require a degree. We value relevant skills and experience and alignment with our core values above all else.
