Here's a bit more about what your job will be. Day to day you will:
* Work with a high degree of independence while performing PMs and repairs
* Utilize leading-edge technology and programs including PM using voice application, Noregon diagnostics, Mitchell 1, Uptake predictive analytics, TAAS, and more!
* Leverage and grow your skills working on Pepsi's diverse fleet equipment, including automobiles, trucks (light and heavy), vans, and forklifts
* Diagnose failures of vehicles and disassemble, repair, and reassemble parts as necessary
* Maintain documentation and records such as vehicle records and pre-trip checklists
* Answer service calls
* Be part of the team that maintains one of the largest fleets in North America
While we provide extensive training and continuous education to build onto your current maintenance education and experience, we do have a few minimum requirements:
* Position requires that you have your own basic hand tools. Diagnostic, ergonomic, and high-tech equipment will be provided.
* Position also requires a number of physical movements including lifting, pinching, bending, reaching, climbing, and manipulating and handling objects (with or without an accommodation)
* At least 18 years of age
* Must be able to pass Forklift Driving Skills test (if applicable)
* Mechanical knowledge of gas and diesel repair
* Experience with hydraulic and air brake systems
* Knowledge of internal combustible engines
* Knowledge of Preventative Maintenance
Helpful experience:
* Repairing forklifts (e.g., repairing propane fuel / electrical / battery systems, hydraulic systems, pallet jacks, etc.)
* Working with computers (e.g., i-pad, using desktop computers, hand-held computers, laptop computers, performing diagnostics with Noregon / Autometer etc., conducting preventative maintenance using voice application, executing work orders on INFOR, use of Geotab etc.)
* Working with manufacturing standards (e.g., use of Mitchell 1, use of OEM Support tools, knowing current standards, staying up-to-date with the latest technology, having experience working with electronics, etc.)
* Driving trucks requiring a Valid U.S. Class A or B CDL (e.g., road testing trucks, driving trucks in and out of the repair shop, etc.)
* Repairing heavy duty equipment (e.g., working on class 8, 7, 6 and medium duty trucks, brakes, tires, engines, liftgates, thermo king heater and refer units, etc.)
* Repairing light trucks (e.g., EV trucks, gas-diesel trucks, vans, support vehicles, etc.)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

The position of Maintenance Service Professional provides commercial and industrial minor equipment repair and preventive maintenance services in big box retailers and other facilities. In some markets, the role also includes but is not limited to general facilities' maintenance and the removal of refrigerant for recycling.
Representative equipment may include, but is not limited to, paint shakers devices, blind cutting machines, mobility carts, power stocker lifts, dock plates, pipe threader, ladders, wood saws, tile saws, wire and carpet carousels, compactors, bailers, densifier maintenance, pre-crusher and light general light construction repairs such as general carpentry, painting, light electrical, plumbing, shopping and lumber carts, pipe threaders, carpet cutters and power stock loaders.
The technician generally conducts maintenance and minor repairs in various locations within a reasonable radius of their home and drives a company vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
30% - Administrative & Communication - Utilize company technology platform to document all work performed on equipment, including labor and parts. Accurately maintain, report and store parts inventory. Files expense reports. Complete and organize tech stock replenishment into company vehicle. Proactively communicate with business partners and leaders regarding customer needs, parts and servicing of equipment to provide excellent customer service. Effectively communicate with customers regarding service requested and provided. Complete all required training.
10% - Compliance and Safety - Perform all work and assignments in accordance with proper safety practices. Adhere to all THD and Safety rules and regulations. Use sound judgment to address and eliminate safety related issues. Comply with company safety, driving and vehicle standards. Complete pre and post vehicle inspections.
60% - Preventive Maintenance & Light Repairs - Complete light industrial equipment repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment found in big box retailers. Respond to on-site preventative maintenance service calls. Conduct day to day maintenance and repairs independently while adhering to required safety standards. Conduct preventive maintenance, light repairs, light electrical and general carpentry. Perform general preventive maintenance tasks including but limited to inspections / greasing / operation checks / etc. and replacement of minor parts such as wheels / ladder / safety locks / etc. Troubleshoot and problem solve minor equipment issues. Travel between store location as needed. Some travel may require an overnight stay. Perform other responsibilities and duties as required.

Physical Requirements:

Working Conditions:
Typically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes which cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness.
Employee occasionally climb equipment and work at heights up to 20 feet.

As an experienced Fleet Mechanic, here's a bit more about what your job will be. Day to day you will:
* Work with a high degree of independence while performing PMs and repairs
* Utilize leading edge technology and programs including PM using voice application, Noregon diagnostics, Uptake predictive analytics, TAAS, and more!
* Leverage and grow your skills working on Pepsi's diverse fleet equipment including automobiles, trucks (light and heavy), vans and forklifts
* Perform advanced diagnostics across all OE platforms (Volvo, International, Freightliner, Maxon, electrical vehicles, Material Handling Equipment and more)
* Perform high level repairs such as, but not limited to, engine and driveline, after treatment and emissions, and safety systems

Must live within 20 miles of Oxnard, CA Schedule: Monday - Friday; 7am - 3:30pm The position of Maintenance Service Professional provides commercial and industrial minor equipment repair and preventive maintenance services in big box retailers and other facilities. **Key Responsibilities:**
