PITCO FOODS SJO ORDER SELECTOR - FULL CASE PICK PITCO Foods is a large independent foodservice distributor in Northern California. Based in San Jose, CA, PITCO also has distribution centers in Brisbane, Oakland, and Sacramento. Pulls merchandise from stock for high-volume business delivery orders. Pulls and loads items onto the truck, and boxes small cooler and freezer items into milk crates. Follows proper safety and security procedures and standards. DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES: Obtains pull sheet (list of number and location of items to pull for an order) from control desk. Lifts pallet from low stack and sets on floor. Observes safety and security procedures, such as, performing daily safety checklist for electric pallet jacks prior to use, checking manual pallet jacks and pallets and tagging any with defects, using proper lifting technique. Pulls pallet through warehouse, selects items from floor stock to assemble orders. Checks each pull to ensure correct item and quantity are pulled and that all items are in good condition.
