MSC is growing and going strong. We seek a team player who thrives in a fast-moving environment to manually select product for orders and prepare for shipment, and transport pallets on motorized pallet jacks throughout our Customer Fulfillment Center.
**HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE**
**You will have a hands-on role in our warehouse to ensure delivery of our vast product line to our valued customers.**
+ Pick and count items from bins, flat stock and racks to fill orders.
+ Load, unload and move product by hand, tote or by skid.
+ Verify products using item numbers, descriptions, and quantity; inspect products for damage or improper packaging; and use RF equipment to validate items.
+ Batch orders and assign packing slips to pick product to totes via RF scanning.
+ Operate basic (i.e., electric pallet jack, forklift) and advanced (i.e., turret truck, order picker) powered equipment.
+ Train cross-functionally in other departments and functions in order to support business requirements.
+ Follow safety guidelines at all times, meet specified productivity and quality expectations, and participate in Work Clean program.
**WHAT IT TAKES**
**The motivated individual we seek should have these qualifications.**
+ Basic computer skills
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Willingness to work overtime to meet customer's needs
+ Valid state driver's license, in some instances
+ Internal certification to drive powered equipment within specified time requirements
+ Internal certification to pick DOT-regulated items, if required

Compensation starting at $20.50/ hour dependent on candidate location and experience.
The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Order Selectors efficiently fulfill requests from Kubota dealers for delivery. In addition, Order Selectors assist our warehouses and distribution centers with shipping, receiving and storage activities.
Responsibilities
Accurately and efficiently expedite orders for delivery.
Route and process inbound inventory received to be stocked in an orderly and concise manner.
Confirm that picked orders match customer requirements, avoiding errors or damage.
Packs orders, ensuring products are securely packaged.
Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for outbound shipping.
Ship items out using warehouse management system.
Maintains standard housekeeping expectations throughout shift.
Verify and maintain inventory within warehouse to ensure order and efficiency.
Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures to avoid accidents and injuries.
Report any safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or operational issues.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Willingness to work any shifts (days, nights and/or weekends).
Knowledge, skill and ability to safely manage loads of heavy equipment, tires and/or pallets of parts.
Ability to use computer systems and/or RF scanner to input and retrieve information.
Basic math and computer skills required.
High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others and promote a safe work environment.
Follow and adhere to all policies and procedures.
Ability to execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner.
Ability to select the most efficient and economical means for preparing shipments.
Language Requirements
Must be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
Physical Requirements
Regularly sitting and/or standing on powered equipment.
Frequently lifting up to 50 pounds.
Ability to bend, stoop, turn, pivot, walk and/or stand for 8+ hours.
A good sense of balance and coordination.
Ability to assess weights.
Ability to work in varying temperatures depending upon the season both indoors and out.
Ability to wear various PPE.

Demonstrate written and oral communication skills.
Must be detailed-oriented, demonstrate good time-management skills and manage workload with minimal oversight
The ability to obtain forklift safety certification
The ability to pass a drug screen and background check is required.
