Job Summary: As an Associate in the Data and Analytics Rates team, you will hold a highly visible position within a specialized group of data analysts. You will need to possess analytical insight, strong data discipline, a solid understanding of technology, robust business acumen, and an entrepreneurial spirit to effectively execute and promote results. Additionally, strong communication skills and the ability to bridge the gap between technology, QR, and business users are essential. Job Responsibilities: * Work with the CEM and Rates Trading, Sales and QR to understand solutions needed to solve business problems * Understand and refine current data architectures to persist critical business data across all business lines * Drive standardization across processes and reporting. Suggest and implement controls to improve efficiency & accuracy of existing processes * Develop and enhance existing key management performance analytics and reporting * Help develop predictive analytics to detect changes in data patterns that may be precursor to changes in our business * Pro-actively drive adoption and rollout of business intelligence tools and data APIs. * Develop and maintain models, methodologies and infrastructure such as data pipelines, and associated visuals needed for data projects * Develop data-driven decision making analytics with demonstrable impact Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills: * Advanced degree in quantitative subject (such as engineering, mathematics, physics) * Demonstrable quantitative, problem solving, research and analytical skills * Solid software development skills * Attention to detail and excellent communication skills, both oral and written Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills: * Familiarity with kdb, and amazon aws cloud * JPMorgan execution systems and trade booking model knowledge * Markets product knowledge / experience * Dashboard visuals experience such as Tableau * AI / ML experience * Derivatives pricing knowledge
