Essential Job Responsibilities: 1. Performs routine cleaning of exam rooms, nursing stations, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, conference rooms, event centers, lobbies, lounges/breakrooms, restrooms, corridors, and exterior benches in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner. This will be completed on a regularly scheduled basis, by performing the following duties: Empties all trash containers. Replace trash can liners only if needed. Place all trash in dumpster. Close and lock dumpster. Sweeps and mops all hard surface floors. Cleans and disinfects restrooms with proper supplies, including sinks, counters, toilet bowls, mirrors, and hardware. Completes restroom logs after servicing restroom. Replenishes toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and hand sanitizer in all restrooms, exam rooms and breakroom areas. (as applicable) Vacuums carpeted floors (as applicable). Uses damp, disinfectant-treated cloths, duster and/or vacuum cleaner to dust windowsills, blinds, floors, furniture, and equipment in an orderly fashion. Cleans smudges on doors and walls, as needed. Cleans and disinfects hard surfaces such as countertops, dispensers, hardware, and furniture throughout the clinics/administration buildings. Cleans inside of appliances. Cleans baseboards. Removes and disposes of dirty linen and replenishes in specific areas throughout the clinics. Prepares coffee for patients and staff in the morning. Gathers all materials and supplies from supply room to transport to work area. 2. Lifts and carries bulky items such as supplies, trash cans, mop buckets, etc. as needed for daily duties. 3. Works day, evening or night shifts as assigned. 4. Uses the appropriate chemicals and supplies, according to procedure, provided by Gonzaba Medical Group. Work Environment: Clinic environment. Exposure to communicable diseases, bodily fluids, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations, and other conditions common to a clinic environment.
