Department faculty provide clinical services in 5 hospitals, 14 primary care locations, and several outpatient sites in addition to telepsychiatry consultations to more than 150 clinics in Washington and beyond. The overall annual operations funding from all sources is over $130 million. **The Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences within the UW School of Medicine currently has an outstanding opportunity for a** **_Temporary_** **Continuing Education Specialist 3.** This position is hybrid, with the option for remote work subject to departmental approval. We are seeking an individual who has lived experience as a family member of a loved one with psychosis who will serve as a Continuing Education Specialist. This role will serve as a Psychosis REACH Family Ambassador trainer for the UW SPIRIT Center. The Psychosis REACH Family Ambassador trainer supports Psychosis REACH virtual workshops, virtual presentations, and co-facilitates Psychosis REACH Family Ambassador trainings using the standardized curriculum. The Psychosis REACH Family Ambassador trainer will join a robust team of bright, talented, and passionate faculty, staff, and administrators in the UW SPIRIT Center and Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences. This position will be critical to the professional reputation and growth of the UW SPIRIT Center, broadly, and Psychosis REACH, specifically. Successful candidates will have already attained the status of a UW-trained Psychosis REACH Family Ambassador and will have experience working with lay family members who are themselves learning Psychosis REACH concepts and skills. The ideal candidate will possess both technical experience with Psychosis REACH, as well as a commitment to disseminating the intervention to families across the globe. The ideal candidate will be passionate about family training, advocacy, and providing skills coaching and emotional support in a mutual aid role. They will bring in a skillset in group facilitation or teaching and will be eager to learn and apply advanced facilitation skills in this role. They will strive to enhance professional competencies associated with high-quality training, education, and community outreach. Preferably, candidates will possess familiarity with in-person instruction and both synchronous and asynchronous virtual instruction for adult lay learners. This position will contribute to both existing and emerging projects. A high level of professionalism, autonomy, and excellent communication skills are needed to thrive in this position. Although it is not a supervisory role, this is a leadership role. The Psychosis REACH Family Ambassador trainer will have the opportunity for a national and international platform for family peer-delivered training and an opportunity to serve as a leader in the growing dissemination of Psychosis REACH. This is an in-person position based at UW Tacoma with the option to work remotely up to one workday per week. The Office of Community Partnerships (OCP) is involved in systematic data collection and overall assessment of our community partnerships. The UW Tacoma Community Engagement Data Manager will be the lead technical personnel involved in managing two community engagement data systems, Collaboratory and Community Connect UW (CCUW) and will engage and provide training directly for faculty, staff, and community partners to generate buy-in, manage data intake for community-engaged courses, and track co-curricular engagement. Additionally, the position requires collaboration with a team across UW's Bothell, Tacoma, and Seattle campuses, working closely with campus leaders and stakeholders to support and advance the project. This position will maintain UW Tacoma's existing community engagement data platform, Collaboratory, and lead the implementation of a new tri-campus community engagement management system, CCUW. The new system will enhance our ability to collect, track, analyze, and report on community-engaged courses, community partnerships, student civic engagement, and institution-wide management of related activities. **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** The Community Engagement Data Manager will have the following responsibilities: **Data Platform System Implementation, Adoption and Management: 50%** Serve as the primary UW Tacoma contact working with key stakeholders to successfully manage the implementation of CCUW. This includes: + Learning to use and administer the third-party platform GivePulse and the UW-specific subdomain called CCUW + Building UW Tacoma's foundational CCUW infrastructure (business processes, configurations, look and feel); designing near-term community engagement courses in CCUW, and identifying and operationalizing other use-cases for CCUW at UW Tacoma. + Maintain and manage UW Tacoma's Collaboratory community engagement database, including running reports and regularly uploading relevant community engagement data into CCUW. + Oversee API-based data integration to support inbound/outbound migration, dashboards, and live feed visualizations for community engagement reporting from other data platforms currently in use across the Tacoma campus for tracking different aspects of community engagement (e.g., Collaboratory, Canvas, Tandem, Handshake). + In collaboration with the tri-campus Project Manager, UW Bothell and Seattle counterparts, and the UW Tacoma Program Manager, support UW Tacoma users by advising on systems integrations, data validations, and/or work-around processes and by aligning the CCUW specifications, responsibilities, and data deliverables for community engaged courses and activities. **Communications and Engagement: 25%** + Build and maintain partnerships as UW Tacoma's primary contact for adopting and managing the Collaboratory and CCUW platforms. + Work closely with the tri-campus Project Manager and internal stakeholders - including regular coordination with the UWT Program Manager - to train faculty and staff and support the successful adoption and use of CCUW. + Develop and deliver training sessions and provide ongoing support to faculty, staff, and community partners on the use of CCUW. Collaborate with the UWT Program Manager to align training materials with broader change management and adoption strategies. + Engage potential new campus partners in utilizing the Collaboratory and CCUW data platforms to support their community engagement courses, research, and scholarship activities. + Assist with reports, PowerPoint slide development, public presentations, and information dissemination, as needed. **Data Analysis, Visualization and Assessment: 15%** + Serve as the main point of contact for data management between UW Tacoma's Information Technology, Office of Community Partnerships, and external partners. + Use available tools and software to organize, analyze and present data on community engagement activities. + Help design and maintain online tools that capture and assess data for OCP programs. Create reports and visual materials that clearly show findings from assessment efforts. + Contribute to the development of annual assessment of engagement of activities. **Other Contributions to Tri-Campus and UW Tacoma Initiatives:** **10%** + Participate in internal team meetings and working groups. + Participate in the tri-campus community engagement capacity building initiative via meetings and communities of practice. + Engage in the Collaboratory and CCUW communities, including participating in administrative meetings, attend webinars, trainings, and other professional development opportunities. **Pay Rate Information** The salary information provided below is for a full-time position and will be prorated for part-time (.8 FTE.) **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS** + Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, computing & information systems, public administration, or related field. + Three years of professional experience in data management, project management, and/or business process improvement.
