TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Ultrasound Tech to perform diagnostic sonographic procedures and provide high-quality imaging to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. The Ultrasound Tech will collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure accurate image acquisition and excellent patient care.
Job Responsibilities
Perform ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician orders and department protocols.
Capture images of abdominal, obstetric, vascular, small parts, and/or cardiac structures based on clinical need and certifications.
Adjust equipment settings and patient positioning to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
Evaluate images for quality, clarity, and diagnostic value before submission to radiologist.
Maintain patient comfort, safety, and privacy throughout the imaging process.
Document patient information, procedures, and observations accurately in the medical record.
Ensure ultrasound equipment is maintained and operational; report malfunctions promptly.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program required.
ARDMS certification in one or more specialties (e.g., OB/GYN, Abdomen, Vascular) required.
BLS/CPR certification required.
Minimum 1 year of ultrasound experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and sonographic technique.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
