Job Responsibilities: The Quality Manager at Co-Ex-Tec is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and control processes to ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. This role involves leading the quality team, developing and implementing quality management systems, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Quality Manager plays a critical role in maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. * Ensuring acceptance limits (boundary) samples are established and maintained for all programs on attribute defects * Acting as primary contact on all Customer quality concerns; ensuring all quality concerns are communicated accordingly * Maintaining relationships with personnel from major OEM's, up to Plant Manager level; QA Manager of all major suppliers; other QA Managers/Directors/Management within Corporate; AQSR Registration agency. * Directing 8D problem solving team for all Customer-related quality issues, including tracking, reporting, problem-solving of issues; retain and maintain records as required * Providing support to all departments for quality system development, corrective and preventive action and problem solving resolution. * Assisting in Supplier selection and certification as required * Assisting in the statistical process control improvements with manufacturing and supplier base. * Supervising and coordinating contractors, as required. * Being on call after regular hours to respond to emergencies. * Providing production with "fast response" quality troubleshooting * Completing all APQP-related activities, ECR processes, PRP (8D), and all other Quality Management System requirements as needed; * Setting and achieving specific goals around Lean Manufacturing principles * Ensuring that conflict and productivity issues are managed directly, constructively, and professionally in all circumstances * Drive year-over-year continuous improvement initiatives in areas of responsibility. * Create an environment that encourages active process improvement discussion in the context of business goals. * Identify opportunities, scope projects and forecast resources to achieve productivity, quality and service improvement targets for the business. * Develop the annual Business Plan for the Quality Department. * Identify key weaknesses within the business and lead the transformation of existing processes to a higher quality operation * Leverage the capabilities, ideas and processes within the team * Lead and manage staff including resource planning; training; and performance management * Ensure compliance and enforcement of Customer Specific Requirements, QMS (IATF16949), Health and Safety (ISO 45001), EMS (ISO14001), and security (PIP) requirements. * Adhere to all Co-Ex-Tec and departmental procedures as required. * Perform regular workplace inspections. * Perform accident investigation. Job Responsibilities: The Robotics Technician is responsible for modifying existing automation control systems and designing, estimating, and commissioning new ones integrated with Robots based on PLC's. They implement Safety Category 4 for installations, presses, and robotics work cells and integrate equipment with robots and testing instruments. The engineer troubleshoots process problems, participates in Continuous Improvement initiatives, and maintains automated work cells, mechanical, and hydraulic presses. Job Responsibilities: A Tool & Die Maker is responsible for creating, repairing, and maintaining precision tools, dies, and special guiding and holding devices that allow machines to manufacture a variety of products. This role involves interpreting technical drawings, using computer-aided design (CAD) software, and operating machine tools to cut, shape, and finish metal and other materials Please note this opportunity is for an afternoon shift (2pm-10am) * Build new dies and tooling by preparing various materials from drawings and specifications and constructing dies and tooling from prototypes, by lay out, setting up, machining and fitting metal stock. * Repair and test dies and tooling by layout, setting up machining and finishing metal stock. * Verify conformance of repaired dies or tooling to specifications by checking dimensions, clearances and alignments, consistently working to close tolerances. * Operate a variety of machine tools to cut, mill, grind or otherwise repair work piece to prescribed dimensions and finish. * Operate crane to remove and/or relocate dies to specific work stations/equipment. * Dismantle and repair or replace die parts, tooling or bender fixtures, fitting and assembling parts and testing repaired dies for proper operation, operating press as required. * Fit and assemble tools and then test completed tooling for operation by proving out in a press, unit or fixture. * Provide assistance and guidance to Tool & Die Apprentices. In the process of building tooling, verify tool designs for feasibility and functionality before completion feeding back any modifications or concerns to supervisor. * Support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on both internal and external customer satisfaction * Promote and comply with health, safety, and environmental standards, safe operating procedures, good housekeeping practices and the observance of protective equipment requirements at all times. * Any other reasonable duty required by Management.
