What You Will Do
As an Electrical Engineer, you will collaborate in a team environment to design and support industrial electrical systems, which includes various types of equipment new and old. Specific responsibilities include:
Engineer solutions to improve equipment reliability, safety, ergonomics, and compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 450001, and other EHS initiatives.
Provide technical support to Production, Maintenance, and IT departments, reducing downtime and improving system performance.
Develop, design, and update PLC, VFD, and HMI programs using various control automation platforms, including Rockwell, Siemens, and Beijer.
Update and maintain National Instruments LabVIEW code for testing applications and equipment.
Interface with engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, IT, MES, and Production teams to support facility projects.
Apply NEC knowledge for planning industrial equipment installations and work with electricians to update documentation.
Supply project leaders with capital cost estimates and timelines, and review capital equipment quotations.
Lead projects or project steps, solve complex problems, and act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
Manage outside engineering and construction personnel, ensuring all safety, health, environmental, and compliance aspects meet regulations.
Integrate equipment into data collection systems and establish network topologies.
Support network backup, device patching management, and control system asset inventory.
Compile data from connected devices for organizational use and develop standards for control systems hardware and software.

About the Role
The Materials Developer is responsible for leading the end-to-end development, commercialization, and quality assurance of trims, and labels for assigned product categories. This role acts as the primary technical owner for all material details, driving supplier performance, and ensuring all components meet the company's quality, cost, and sustainability targets with minimal supervision. The Developer proactively analyzes development bottlenecks, introduces process improvements, and serves as the internal technical expert for their material portfolio.

Development Ownership
Independently managing seasonal trim and label development for assigned categories. (All TOPS Apparel and BOTTOMS Sundries)
Translating design intent into manufacturable specifications and proactively identify technical risks.
Communicating timelines and requirements directly with suppliers to ensure on-time execution.
Troubleshooting development issues impacting SMS and production, providing solutions to cross-functional partners.
Technical Expertise & Quality
Reviewing and approving lab dips and submits based on color standards, tolerances, and performance requirements.
Coordinating all material testing and ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
Evaluating supplier performance data and supporting continuous quality improvement with key vendors.
Data Management & Process Improvement
Maintaining accurate material and color data in Centric PLM; ensuring all commercialized materials are production-ready.
Using PLM reporting to forecast calendar risks and development delays.
Recommending improvements to processes, approval flow, and PLM data structure to increase efficiency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Serving as the technical contact for suppliers, factories, Design, Production, Sourcing, and QA.
Maintaining an organized trims and labels catalog in the material library for team reference.
Other duties as assigned.
About You
BA/BS in Apparel Design, Textiles, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in the apparel industry.
Understanding of the end-to-end design and development process.
Basic knowledge of textile properties, including dyeing, finishing, and fabric performance.
Strong organizational skills and ability to utilize systems and tracking tools effectively.
Strong communication skills with clear and concise follow-through.
Effective time management and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Critical thinker with analytical, problem-solving, and adaptable mindset.
Experience with Centric PLM, Microsoft Office, and Excel.

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 per year.

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Optimization Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for driving continuous improvement in manufacturing processes and ensuring the quality of raw materials, products, and production systems. The Manufacturing Optimization Engineer will support production and maintenance teams to optimize throughput, quality, and equipment availability, while also leading cost savings and process efficiency initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities
Identify process improvements to increase efficiency in acrylic tub and shower base manufacturing (thermoforming, fiber/resin application, trimming, assembly, packaging).
Implement process modifications to enhance porcelain enamel tub production (stamping, assembly, enameling, Americast rim injection molding, packaging).
Scope, plan, execute, and implement cost savings projects in acrylic and metals manufacturing areas.
Optimize CNC saw programs using G-code and provide training on Fanuc robot pendent programming.
Apply Lean, 6σ, 5S, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement tools to reduce waste and improve reliability.
Act as a change agent to transition new products smoothly into manufacturing operations.
Maintain company quality procedures, standards, and specifications with cross-functional teams.
Lead and complete assigned capital projects to support manufacturing improvements.
Support all plant environmental, health, and safety initiatives.
Review critical-to-quality (CTQ) requirements for products and processes to meet customer, industry, and legal standards.
Define and track quality metrics, implement standard work, and oversee inspections.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for nonconforming products or raw materials.
Partner closely with operations to ensure successful start-ups and management system continuity.
Required Skills & Abilities
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or associate's degree with equivalent experience required.
2+ years of applicable manufacturing experience required; 5+ years preferred.
Lean and Six Sigma experience strongly preferred.
Prior exposure to continuous improvement practices preferred.
Robotic programming and G-code experience preferred.
Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
