About the Job:
The MDS Coordinator is responsible for planning and organizing the MDS/RAI process in coordination with the RAI/PPS Coordinator. This position assures compliance with all State and Federal MDS transmission requirements. The MDS Nurse is responsible for collaborating with Clinical and Administrative staff regarding issues relative to the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process.

Follows and updates facility MDS schedule and tracking forms per policy and procedure.
Follow facility policy and procedure on Resident Care Planning.
Ensure that care plans accurately reflect the cares and clinical monitoring provided.
Audits completion and review of completed MDS assessments randomly on each floor monthly.

The Summer III Student Nurse Internship is a skill based paid 10-week full time program, providing opportunities to gain valuable clinical skills and experience. * Career Navigation Services: Provide job placement assistance and career counseling resulting in optimal employment outcomes for individuals served.
* Case Management Coordination: Ensure that seamless and comprehensive services are delivered to the individual providing coordinated service options and resources to meet their needs resulting in positive outcomes for individuals served. Serve as the main contact and coordinator for the individual and other involved partners, persons or agencies.
* Documentation: Maintain complete, accurate and timely documentation of individuals served by following established applicable procedures, guidelines, funder requirements, and laws. Organize and report essential caseload information on a regular basis to support program and organizational goals.

* This is a scheduled-hybrid role whose essential functions require work to be conducted at a physical location, which may include a GESMN or partner facility, at least two (2) days per week. The registered nurse (RN) is accountable for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care. The RN supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family. Qualifications
Graduate of a nursing program.

The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for performing delegated activities to support the operating room team in the care of the surgical patient. Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, Core Charge RN, and Core Supervisor, the Sterile Processing Technician prepares and delivers medical/surgical supplies, instruments, and equipment for surgical procedures. The Sterile Processing Technician cleans, packages, and processes surgical equipment and instrumentation, as well as maintains inventory and storage of supplies in the core. The Sterile Processing Technician manages multiple computer applications to assist with sterilization tracking and processes. Responsible to operate and troubleshoot power equipment to process instruments (i.e. autoclaves, washer disinfector, ultrasonic cleaners).
Qualifications
Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) Certification as a Central Processing Technician (CRCST) within 18 months of hire. Must be 18 years of age prior to start date. Prefer two years of experience in the handling and sterilization processing of surgical/medical/dental instrumentation within the past four years, or vocational certificate as Central Service Technician or Patient Care Assistant within the last two years. Alternatively, at least two years of experience as a Central Service Technician or Patient Care Assistant in an acute care setting within the last five years. Prefer knowledge of medical terminology.
