: This position is responsible for performing janitorial, housekeeping and other miscellaneous duties to ensure The Alamo Complex is maintained in a clean and sanitary manner for visitors and staff. DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provide a professional, efficient, and approachable support and service while maintaining a high level of customer service to staff and the ATI at all times. Sweep, mop and or vacuum all floors as scheduled. Dust all furniture and fixtures as required. Wash and disinfect all bathroom floors, toilets, toilet seats and fixtures on scheduled basis during operating hours and at the end of each day. Clean all glass to include display surfaces on a periodic basis during operating hours and at prior to opening. Replenish toilet tissue, soap and other products as needed and a scheduled basis during operating hours and prior to opening or at the end of each day. Empty all waste baskets, garbage cans, urns and other receptacles periodically during operating hours and either prior to opening or at the end of each day. Cleans spills, biohazards and other mishaps as discretely and as soon as possible, disposing of waste in appropriate manner. Clean employee break rooms, kitchens, counters and tables daily. Experience with school facility maintenance Knowledge and Skills Preferred: Active member of a Roman Catholic parish faith community Knowledge of various electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, life safety, and building systems Ability to diagnose and perform minor maintenance repairs Working knowledge of Google Suites, office practices, record keeping techniques, file practices Knowledge of cleaning/janitorial equipment and supplies and their safe use and storage Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word.
