POSITION SUMMARY:
We're looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our growing marketing team and help bring retail and brand campaigns to life across digital and in-store channels. This role is ideal for someone with 2-3 years of marketing experience who's ready to roll up their sleeves and support the planning and execution of paid and organic social media, email marketing, and in-store promotions. The right candidate is digitally savvy, highly organized, and excited to help manage content calendars, collaborate with external vendors, and contribute to campaign strategy that drives traffic, engagement, and brand visibility.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
Assist in the planning, creation and execution of marketing campaigns and retail strategies that aligns with and drives engagement for our mission and organizational objectives
Lead day-to-day execution of organic and paid social media campaigns - from content creation to scheduling and performance reporting.
Draft and deploy engaging email marketing campaigns, including promotions, newsletters, and targeted communications to segmented lists.
Coordinate in-store marketing efforts, including promotional events, signage, and visual merchandising materials.
Maintain detailed marketing calendar to ensure alignment across all platforms and departments with attention to key cultural moments and observances (e.g. Earth Month, Disability Employment Awareness, and holiday shopping seasons)
Work closely with retail on store location management, including store information listings and customer feedback across all platforms.
Assist in drafting press releases, maintaining press lists, and coordinating outreach to media outlets.
Monitor campaign analytics and provide regular reports to inform and adjust strategy.
Manage and update the marketing intranet, ensuring it is a reliable resource for internal communication and collaboration.
Ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and branding across all marketing efforts.
Coordinate with external vendors, such as printers, designers, and consultants, to support marketing projects that adhere to budget and brand guidelines
Support other marketing initiatives as needed, contributing to the team's goals and organizational objectives.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a marketing or communications role; retail marketing experience a bonus
Excellent communication skills including writing and editing to be concise and effective
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms
e.g., Google Analytics, social media management tools, CRM systems and email marketing platforms such as Constant Contact
Strong organizational, project and time management skills; meticulous eye for detail and working across multiple projects
Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Essential Functions:

A DSP Van Driver is also responsible for safely driving and escorting program attendees, in an accessible 12 passenger van, to/from home and program, transporting groups to activities during the day, and delivering supplies between program sites
Maintains daily communication with program participants, their families, and program staff regarding pick up and drop off times, route notifications, and issues / concerns.
Transports program groups to / from activity locations in the 5 boroughs during the program day

Assists riders as needed when entering and exiting the vehicle

General Purpose:
Coordinate Pre Vocational and/ or Day Habilitation services for a case load of up to 30 individuals with Intellectual Disabilities. Engage each individual in a Person Centered Planning process to identify their goals and implement services and activities that will help them achieve their highest level of independence. Complete all required documentation efficiently & to employers & funding source's standards. Coordinate group & individual scheduling of activities and services, regularly visit program and volunteer sites, oversee Direct Support Professionals implementation of services to individuals, write and update each individual's Habilitation Plan and Person Centered Plan.
Essential Functions:
Complete required documentation (including Habilitation Plans, Monthly Case Notes, Person Centered Plans, New Start Packets, Incident Reports, and other required documentation) to funding source and oversight agency standards within specified timeframes.
Ensure Individual's on caseload meet monthly attendance goals. Prepare monthly attendance report for Program Manager.
Engage each individual in Person Centered Planning. Use their Person Centered Plan and feedback as the basis for developing Habilitation Plans, Goals, Staff Supports & Services, and in group & individual monthly schedule development. Each individual's goals, interests, needs, and skills must be taken into account when developing the schedules.
Solicit feedback, observations, insights, & recommendations from the individual, Rehabilitation Technicians, & Job Developer regularly on individual's progress & changes to make to schedules & Habilitation Plans.
Responsible for submitting & balancing Petty Cash reports, tracking Metro Card distribution & reconciliation, submitting monthly transportation reimbursements, and conducting monthly fire drills at offsite locations.
Visit hub sites & volunteer / internship sites to supervise activities, evaluate individual's progress, and monitor the quality of services/ activities and interactions between Rehabilitations Technicians and individuals.
Responsible for ensuring Rehabilitation Technicians provide daily services as written in the individual's Habilitation Plan and accurately enter time & attendance and services provided to individual's on a daily basis.
In accordance with OPWDD and agency requirements modifies his / her own communication to ensure understanding & respect when interacting with individuals; including modifying tone of voice and use of verbal & nonverbal techniques to meet the individual's communication needs.
