The ERM function is responsible for working across the company to establish and operate a sustainable risk management program which includes developing, supporting and maintaining a robust and successful risk management program that reduces overall risk with existing activities with clear analysis and understanding of new risks and potential opportunities. This includes identifying, measuring and managing insurable or hazard risks, developing reports and plans and analyzing risk. This position is a senior leadership role within the Financial Services Department responsible for developing and overseeing the enterprise risk management framework and programs for IEEE, including identifying, assessing and managing the full complement of factors that could potentially put IEEE at risk. The role will also provide leadership to the organization in the area of business continuity program management through the coordination, assessment, development and communication of recovery environment requirements, and contingency plans, to protect the IEEE in the event that facilities, and/or necessary technology resources, are unavailable due to an unplanned disruption. This position will be charged with promoting / embedding risk management within IEEE's culture and increasing the visibility of risk management with IEEE's Board. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage the strategy and implementation of an integrated framework for identifying, assessing, controlling and monitoring risk, including developing ERM policies and practices. Facilitate or directly execute risk analysis and assessments across IEEE's business units to achieve strategic initiatives and ensure due diligence, due care, controllership and sound corporate governance.
