JOB SUMMARY:
The Retail Center Shift Supervisor will be responsible for day-to-day, tactical, and practical leadership of associates and teams across the entire retail center.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Generally responsible for monitoring the whole retail center and addressing immediate issues of safety, customer focus, product flow, and aesthetics either personally or through delegation.
Employee Leadership:
Manages breaks.
Redirects staff/work teams to address call-offs.
Coaches' employees verbally and with initial write-ups.
Provides input to reviews and terminations.
Facilitates employee purchases.
Task/Functional Leadership:
Assists in opening and closing procedures
Responsible for the verification step related to the daily sales report paperwork.
Responsible for counting drawers.
Responsible for making change between drawers and safe.
Assist with inventory process by counting, entering, and verifying.
Ability to be on call for alarm notifications after hours.
Customer Focus:
Plan, coordinate, and control the activities of the customer service team to maintain and enhance customer relationships, meet organizational, and operational objectives.
First escalation point for customer complaints.
Point of contact for turning down donations at Attended Donation Centers (ADC).
Cross-training:
Maintains knowledge of store procedures at the proficiency of a generalist with the ability to fill in for an emergency.
Ensure E-Commerce product(s) are processed accurately and moving to E-Commerce efficiently.
Uses and becomes certified on pallet jack, walkie stacker, forklift, hand dolly, or other equipment or tools to effectively move and store donated product.
Maintains knowledge to the level where operations can be maintained in rare cases where no Assistant Manager or Manager are able to be on premises.

Education:

Able to obtain certification in all employee positions through completion of On the Job (OJT) documentation.

Able to withstand prolonged standing, bending, and lifting up to 8 hours per day.

SUMMARY
Under the direct supervision of the Team Leader and Assistant Team Leader, this is a non-exempt leadership role. The primary responsibilities of the Keyholder are to ensure world-class customer service, POS sales, facility security and maintenance, and processing merchandise. The Keyholder's goal is to ensure the efficient and cost-effective operation of the Goodwill Dallas retail stores through security of corporate assets, customer relations, sale of donated goods, and accurate cash register operations, to maximize profitability and increase training opportunities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
1. Ensures 100% world-class customer service.
2. Opens and closes as required including assigning POS drawers, providing change for cashiers, documenting team member absence, and assigning duties as applicable.
3. Handling and processing of incoming donation flow in and out.
4. Ensures loss prevention and risk management policies and procedures.
5. Ensures a neat, clean, organized, and safe facility.
6. Assists in the proper inventory control and rotation of apparel and hard goods in a timely manner to ensure a full and fresh inventory.
7. Keeps abreast of merchandise knowledge, industry trends and competitive pricing.
8. Ensures statistical counts (i.e., donor counts, apparel hang, rotation count, etc.) are completed in an accurate and timely manner. Completes register pulls, readings, cash reports, daily activity reports, transmittal of reports and daily deposits in accordance with Goodwill Dallas policies and procedures as .

JOB SUMMARY:
The Retail Center Shift Supervisor will be responsible for day-to-day, tactical, and practical leadership of associates and teams across the entire retail center.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Generally responsible for monitoring the whole retail center and addressing immediate issues of safety, customer focus, product flow, and aesthetics either personally or through delegation.
Employee Leadership:
Manages breaks.
Redirects staff/work teams to address call-offs.

Maintains knowledge of store procedures at the proficiency of a generalist with the ability to fill in for an emergency.
Ensure E-Commerce product(s) are processed accurately and moving to E-Commerce efficiently.
Uses and becomes certified on pallet jack, walkie stacker, forklift, hand dolly, or other equipment or tools to effectively move and store donated product.
Maintains knowledge to the level where operations can be maintained in rare cases where no Assistant Manager or Manager are able to be on premises.
