The incumbent develops ideas, presents creative concepts, and manages project execution, ensuring that projects are completed within budget, on time and as scoped, while delivering high-quality work. The primary functions of this role are graphic design, social media management and email marketing. In this role, a customer-centric mindset is essential as the Creative Manager collaborates with internal business partners to develop creative marking solutions for their business needs and oversees work with external vendors to ensure that materials produced are consistent with the Goodwill brand. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES: Builds templates and guides and communicates with internal business partners to ensure consistent alignment of visuals and messaging with Goodwill's branding across various platforms including digital, print, and multimedia graphics. Manages and curates Goodwill's in-store radio programming, including the writing and recording of in-store radio commercials and Mood Media management. Serves as primary point of contact with stations to maintain our radio advertising campaigns. Reviews radio advertising contracts, drafts and reviews copy and recordings. Responsible for concept and graphic design of fundraising and special events. Provides logistical support and captures event photography as the in-house photographer to support marketing efforts. Develops and executes designs and campaigns for seasonal promotions and events such as Halloween and National Thrift Shop Day. Spearheads in-store graphics and painting projects for renovations, including mockups for awnings, store painting, vinyl graphics etc. Directs and oversees materials produced by marketing partners and vendors to ensure accuracy and alignment with branding guidelines. Enhances brand visibility and customer trust through the management and design of essential publications such as newsletters, annual reports, and brochures. Develops motion graphics, including social media GIFs and videos, to enhance engagement and outreach efforts. Translates complex data (i.e. survey and program results, financial information, etc.) into visually engaging formats such as presentations, dashboards and reports. Oversees all social media accounts, and responsible for all posting and majority of content creation for all things posted, strategies and scheduling. Collaborates with the PR team to disseminate press releases across social media and the website. Works closely with the VP Brand & Community Engagement to manage communication and media relations with social media influencers, posting collateral material as necessary. Designs webpages, landing pages, and updates website content, including photography. Oversees email communications and responsible for all email blasts, creating copy and content for the majority of them. Prepares and submits the marketing budget, allocating resources for promotional social media marketing within the retail budget. Designs presentations and templates for strategic communication used by executives/CEO. Develops, designs and updates the corporate dashboard for the CEO. Works closely with VP, Brand & Community Engagement to post and distribute information about weather-related closures and other adverse events that impact Goodwill operations. Provides support for companywide graphic-related issues, including file conversions, resizing, technical help with PowerPoints and photo editing tasks. Serves as a representative for Goodwill at events, as needed. Maintains and updates the organizational chart, as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field, and at least four years of experience that includes digital communication, social media and print production. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. SKILLS/ABILITIES: Demonstrated proficiency using various marketing platforms, including social, digital, and Constant Contact or similar email marketing software. Demonstrated proficiency in Canva design tool, Abode Suite, Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Excellent visual and written communication skills, including editing skills. Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES Follows safety policies and procedures ensuring maximum security and protection of all customers and company assets. Assists with meeting or exceeding all retail metrics goals as it relates to revenues, wage to revenue ratios (32% or less), production and transaction / transaction values. Achieves monthly sales goals and production goals under the direction of the District Retail Manager and assigned Store Manager. Provides guidance to store team members, including hiring and training, providing performance feedback, and coaching and mentoring to optimize team members' performance and development. Conducts training for team members and ensures all new hire job specific training and orientation is completed within first two weeks of employment. Proactively interviews and maintains staffing levels no less than 90% of established goals. Assists with overseeing POS functions and transactions including sales, refunds, audits, voids, correct pricing, inventory control, and responding to customers. Also responsible for register cash fund including deposits, store change fund, counts petty cash, and accounting for overages and shortages. Ensures necessary record keeping, daily reports, and reporting of money, sales, donations, labor hours and production to the District Retail Manager and assigned Store Manager. Ensures maximum customer satisfaction. Sets high standards for customer service, resolves customer issues or complaints, and assists with implementing initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction. Works cooperatively with all consumers, co-workers, and team members to promote the achievement of the company mission.
