**The Role**
The Retention Strategist is a critical member of the Large Enterprise GTM Customer Success organization. This role is responsible for driving customer retention, managing complex renewal processes, and identifying opportunities for account growth through strategic upsell and cross-sell initiatives. The position requires a high level of business acumen, discretion, and independent judgment to influence pricing strategies, negotiate terms, and develop retention frameworks that align with organizational goals. The Retention Strategist serves as a trusted advisor to customers, ensuring long-term value and satisfaction while collaborating across multiple internal teams including Sales, Finance, Legal, and Customer Success.

**The Main Responsibilities**
+ Own and execute end-to-end renewal strategy, including forecasting, outreach, negotiation, and confirmation of contracts.
+ Develop and continuously improve retention playbooks and processes to maximize account value and minimize churn.
+ Exercise discretion in structuring complex deals, pricing adjustments, and migration strategies for high-value accounts.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, Sales, Customer Success) to align renewal terms with company objectives.
+ Analyze competitor trends, market signals, and customer data to inform retention and expansion strategies.
+ Proactively identify and generate expansion opportunities within existing accounts, including upsell, cross-sell, and add-on services.
+ Handle escalations related to contract questions, negotiations, and requests, resolving issues with independent judgment.
+ Maintain and report a rolling 90-day renewal forecast by segment and territory, providing strategic insights to leadership.
+ Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency by identifying process gaps and implementing solutions.
+ Serve as a subject matter expert on retention strategies, providing guidance and training to internal teams as needed.
**What We Look For in a Candidate**
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, communications, or related field.
+ 6+ years of experience in client-facing roles, ideally within SaaS or enterprise technology environments.
+ Proven success in managing complex renewals and retention strategies with measurable results.
+ Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in negotiations and strategic decisions.

**Compensation**

POSITION SUMMARY
This Sr. Associate Attorney position combines litigation with legal and policy advocacy to promote clean energy in Ohio and the Midwest. They will litigate cases before the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio and state and federal courts, and advance program goals. The position will work closely with ELPC attorneys, as well as with our partners and clients at other environmental, public health, and community organizations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Litigate cases on clean energy issues before the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio and the courts, as well as other commissions around the Midwest.

Your Responsibilities Include
Recruit new Churches into the CarePortal network in a way that honors and reflects the posture and goals of CarePortal, LLC.
Provide culturally-competent orientations and trainings for new Churches, serving as their main point of contact that equips their leaders and teams to make meaningful connections through the CarePortal network.
Maintain a proficient understanding of how the CarePortal platform works, in part by using it to personally meet and/or coordinate the meeting of requests.
Work with local Regional Managers and other Church Ambassadors in collaborative planning and goal-setting for the team.

Position Summary:
The Manager, Fundraising Campaigns & Volunteer Engagement (Take Steps/Special Events) works in partnership with Foundation leaders, community volunteers and committees to drive growth and success in the Take Steps and Special Event fundraising campaigns. This individual will identify, recruit, train, and partner with leadership volunteers to harness their passion and skills and to help maximize their engagement in order to advance the mission of the Foundation.
The Manager travels throughout the designated market area to meet with constituents and serves as a key leader for the Foundation with volunteers and supporters. The Manager will help to identify and cultivate partnerships and alliances that will promote growth and awareness in the IBD community.
This role is fully remote, but requires applicants to live in the Kansas City, MO metropolitan area.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Fundraising
Oversee all aspects of the Take Steps fundraising campaign and provide input into the development of a plan to strategically execute peer-to-peer fundraising best practices.
Identify and cultivate corporate, healthcare and community partners who will maximize growth and revenue impact on Take Steps fundraising campaign.
Partner with special event committee to cultivate auction, identify additional event revenue streams and other event related responsibilities as necessary.
Develop impactful relationships within the patient, healthcare, and corporate community, empowering them to tell their stories through direct peer-to-peer fundraising.
Go the extra mile to understand the full scope of these diseases and in turn, use that knowledge to connect with patients in a meaningful way. Communicate shared vision by utilizing national campaign and marketing materials, adjusting as appropriate.
Create annual operational plan including marketing, budgeting, and project management to ensure success of the Take Steps campaign.
Direct the implementation and execution of Take Steps fundraising campaign by focusing on acquisition, retention and stewardship of teams, participants, top fundraisers, sponsors and volunteers.
Ensure revenue goal is achieved by developing, implementing, and assessing year-round strategic fundraising plans for all Take Steps walks. Plan includes campaign revenue drivers: proactive team engagement, acquisition, day of experience, sponsorship and data-revenue tracking and assessment. Make timely adjustments to fundraising strategies as needed.
Prioritize relationship development. Deliver excellent customer service to all donors, participants, corporate partners, and teams by understanding their interests, responding promptly to requests and providing consistent year-round communication.
Manage and execute logistics to provide an inspirational day-of event experience for corporate partners, patients, and supporters.
Collaborate with ED and national staff to work collectively towards strategic team goals.
Maintain accurate and complete database, records and files for fundraising events, programs, and activities.
Perform all other duties and tasks required to support new and/or proposed events, programs, and campaigns.
Board/Volunteer Engagement
Build and execute a compelling vision for the chapter and collaborate with volunteer leaders and staff to achieve it, that ultimately drives revenue growth for the Foundation.

Expected work schedule for the Development Catalyst:

Pay structure for a Development Catalyst:
Requires the development of a ministry partner team which supplies the necessary prayer and financial support to cover salary, benefits, and ministry expenses

Responsibilities of a Development Catalyst
The overall role of the Development Catalyst is to develop, communicate, and execute a fundraising strategy for the Central Ohio ministry location of International Friendships (IFI). This position is part of the Central Ohio ministry team and requires the candidate to live in or near Columbus, OH.
The Development Catalyst will (list not all inclusive):
Assist the location to develop a culture of generosity and transformational giving based on Biblical values by:
Helping people progress through the giving continuum: potential donor → one-time donor → recurring donor → increasing donor → major donor
Assembling and leading a development team to strategize and communicate fundraising opportunities with others
Creating and executing digital venue strategy
Managing and overseeing the event staff and volunteers to plan and execute the annual banquet and other fundraising events
Mobilizing current IFI staff and volunteers to share Central Ohio opportunities with their own networks
Implementing multiple strategies as part of the fundraising plan, such as matching fund, sponsorship, planned giving, grants, and meeting face-to-face with individual donors
Strongly encouraging involvement in at least two local student events each year and to be matched with an international friend for conversation or to host students for at least one holiday meal a year
Ensure donor data and communications are accurately maintained in database and provide detailed reports to Area Director on development activities and progress on initiatives
Develop and maintain financial and prayer partnerships for budgeted needs of the role by sharing the vision of the ministry, ensuring minimum monetary standards are achieved, partner care, and sending out a ministry newsletter at least every other month to partners
Qualifications/expectations of the Development Catalyst:
Adherence to IFI's statement of faith, core values, and policies
Is faithful, loyal and dedicated to IFI's mandate from the Lord to extend God's love globally through equipping believers to be effective cross-cultural communicators of God's love
Well organized with attention to detail and ability to complete tasks independently
Proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office and Google applications
Development Catalyst Required Education/Experience:
Minimum of a Bachelor degree
Minimum of two (2) years of work experience in fundraising or similar experience that would show an ability to work in this environment
Experience with donor management software, nonprofits and/or Christian ministries, and social media posting are a plus
