Summary

Duties and Responsibilities
* Performs, trains, and assists client workers/trainees to perform a wide variety of cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dust mopping, spot cleaning, trash collection and removal, vacuuming, dusting, restroom cleaning and floor maintenance.
* Assigns client workers/trainees their duties and follows up on work to ensure that it is completed thoroughly and meets all quality standards. As requested, provides Assistant Custodial Project Manager - Letterkenny with information for job performance evaluations on client workers/trainees assigned. As requested, may provide Federal Rehabilitation Vocational Specialist with information for job performance evaluations on client workers/trainees assigned and participate in evaluation meetings as necessary.
* Must maintain adequate supply levels. Reports requests for equipment and supplies to the Assistant Custodial Project Manager - Letterkenny or supervisor where applicable.
* Ensures that all machinery and equipment is properly maintained and reports all problems and repair requests to the Assistant Custodial Project Manager - Letterkenny or supervisor in a timely manner.
* Ensures that self and client workers/trainees are using supplies in an efficient manner to reduce waste and cost.
* Assists the Assistant Custodial Project Manager - Letterkenny with maintaining quality standards set by contract. May participate as a member of the quality assurance team. May participate in daily, weekly and monthly inspections. Identifies problems, takes corrective action and keeps Assistant Custodial Project Manager - Letterkenny abreast of any potential problems. Maintains daily log as assigned.
* Performs all duties in a safe manner and ensures that client workers adhere to safety guidelines such as the use of caution signs when mopping, stripping and waxing floors and the prompt removal of these signs when floors are dry. Ensures that self and client workers operate all machinery and equipment in a safe and proper manner. Practices and teaches safe work methods. Always uses and ensures client workers use safety gear and equipment when working in areas that require these items.

Goodwill's Welcome Center connects individuals and families to Goodwill programs and services through employment, education, reintegration, and other essential supportive services to establish and improve self-sufficiency.

Summary

Duties and Responsibilities
* Assists with hiring, orientation, training, development, coaching, evaluation and termination of Service Custodial Operators and Client Workers. * Provides on-the-job training, supports, and supervises assigned contract to include, but not be limited to:

* Performs all duties relating to Pennsylvania's Right to Know Law, M.S.D.S., and labeling requirements for custodial products and supplies. Performs own duties in a safe manner and ensures that staff assigned adheres to all safety guidelines.
* Performs a wide variety of cleaning tasks and other tasks as assigned to include, but not be limited to:
* Fills soap and disinfect containers daily; fills and delivers supply orders as assigned; performs cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dust mopping, spot cleaning, dusting, trash collection and removal, vacuuming, restroom cleaning, carpet cleaning, floor scrubbing, stripping, waxing, buffing. Maintains all contract specifications.
* Provides transportation for staff assigned to work locations when needed. Operates agency vehicles in a safe manner at all times. Fuels and refuels vehicles when needed. Reports any vehicle concerns to Custodial Project Manager.
* As assigned, conducts performance measurements on all trainees after initial testing in a timely basis to ensure each client worker is tested annually.
* Promptly reports the necessity for non-routine repair of equipment to the Custodial Project Manager.
* Participates and provides information to Federal Contract Vocational Specialists (FCVS) to complete all DOL and Source America paperwork. Maintains on-going relationships with FCVS.
* Maintains all supply and equipment inventories following established procedures for control and ordering of items and within established budget. Actively participates in maintaining low costs for items and establishes relationships with those suppliers.
