Maintains vehicle logs and daily trip sheets according to all company procedures.
Reports any mechanical problems, delays, accidents, and/or other traffic and transportation situations to leadership team.
Loads and unloads trucks, vehicles, containers, and trailers by hand or with the use of a hand truck, lift gate, and/or pallet jack during pick-up and drop-offs.
Conducts daily preventative maintenance checks, before, during and after operations, and adheres to all safety regulations.
Cleans the inside of the assigned vehicle daily, and the outside, as needed.
Report concerns to the leadership team immediately.
Pads, stacks, and secures items in position on the truck to prevent damage during transit.
Works other areas of the store as requested by the leadership team.
You will be hired as a Driver, however, you will be cross-trained and expected to learn and work all areas of the retail operation.
A part-time position averages 32 - 40 hours per week. Hours will fluctuate based on business needs (i.e., seasonal changes, donation volumes, etc.) Operating days will fluctuate based on store location. The Driver must be available to work any shifts Monday through Sunday.

What you'll be doing:
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will assist the Store Manager in running the store. This means hiring, training, motivating and supervising staff. You'll lead meetings, help the store meet its customer and donor satisfaction standards, maintain displays and merchandising presentations, ensure that any cash is handled as per policy and drive the store towards meeting or exceeding its budgeted financial performance. Ongoing training is provided. As you progress in your career you may be offered the opportunity to transfer to other stores.
Requirements:
3 year's experience in supervision of 15 or more employees in food services, manufacturing, production or retail. Alternatively, one year of supervision experience with successful completion of Goodwill assigned training
Or a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Retail, Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, or Economics plus 1 year of supervisory experience in logistics, retail, warehouse, fast food, restaurants, B2B accounts, corporate/service industry or any other relevant industry.
Or 4+ years of military service with one or more years of supervisory experience in lieu of either of the above
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
Demonstrated skills in operating personal computers, Previous POS or sell systems, and various software packages including MS office.
A driver's license and dependable transportation and communication devices
Preferences:
Bilingual language skills are a plus.
Previous military experience
What you need to know: This is not like other retail jobs. Sure, we work the same 45+ hour weeks and yes, we're open all 7 days, but there's more to it than that. Our products are gently donated items, items that need to be unpacked, sorted, displayed. It's messy. It's dusty. It can be cold in the winter, hot in the summer. The store manager needs to trust you to proactively address situations and resolve them. Thinking ahead and prioritizing are crucial skills here. You need to understand the in-store experience and be able to engage and motivate employees to deliver excellent customer service. We use computers, email, Microsoft Office every day. If you're someone who can keep an eye on the big picture while addressing the day-to-day work in front of you, you'll do really well here.

The Carrollton retail store, located on South Park Street, is currently looking for a hard-working and dedicated Retail Team Lead.
Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers, Inc.'s Retail Team Lead responsibilities:
Ensures proper maintenance, reporting, and management of the store's financial assets such as cash register tills, cash deposits, and the change fund.
Supervises team members to ensure they provide customers with the best service experience.
Delegates tasks and duties for all store team members.
Creates an environment that allows team members to achieve their expectations, goals, and performance measures.
Meets or exceeds daily retail store goals.
Develops relationships with donors and customers.
Assists customer with purchases and pricing
Ensures the sales floor layout is customer friendly.
Checks pricing to ensure policies and proper formats are utilized.
Understands item pricing and “color of the week”.
Assists with hiring and onboarding of new team members.
Understands and practices all safety requirements.
Performs other duties as assigned by Store Manager.
You will be hired as a Retail Team Lead; you will be cross-trained and expected to learn and work in all areas of the retail operation.
A full-time position averages 32-40 hours per week. Hours will fluctuate based on business needs, (i.e., seasonal changes, donation volumes, etc.) Operating days will fluctuate based on the store location. The Retail Team Lead must be available to work any shifts Monday through Sunday.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Two years of supervisory experience leading a team.
Basic math skills.
Basic computer skills.
Prior experience working in a retail or customer service-related environment.
Cash handling experience.
Warehouse experience, preferred.

What you'll be doing:
As an E-Commerce Listing Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and selecting donated products for sale online through the e-commerce platform. You'll thoroughly examine product conditions, capture clear product photos and document product descriptions necessary to maximize e-commerce sales. You'll also:
Identify rare, collectible and/or unique items for sale through the e-commerce software
Examine product condition; test and clean products to ensure products are in working order and appealing to our customers
Photograph all products selected for sale online; ensure all photos are clear and/or visible for online listings
Prepare detailed written descriptions of products, identify and document manufacturer information, and other pertinent criteria to accurately describe products listed online
List all selected products and maintain product listing documentation as needed
Modify product listings as needed
Ensure a clean, organized work and storage area
Assist and shares knowledge and information with e-commerce team, management and other employees as needed
Assist with shipping products as needed
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
E-commerce research and listing experience preferred
Intermediate and proven knowledge with Microsoft Office
Effective interpersonal skills as well as oral and written communication skills
Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast paced environment
