About the Position

We are searching for career-minded, energetic, and organized Care Partners (RMAs) to join our Assisted Living team in our Goodwin House Alexandria location for the night shift (11 p.m. - 7 a.m.).

The Care Partner - Registered Medication Aide (RMA) will provide care to the residents living in the Small House. Their primary role is to protect, sustain, nurture, administer medication to the residents, and provide assistance with activities of daily living. In addition, the Care Partner / RMA will offer senior-level clinical support to professional nursing staff and other duties as required. The responsibilities of the RMA also include care of the residents' environment, including cooking, laundry, and housekeeping.

Job Requirements

* Must be certified as RMA and be current with mandatory annual update class.

About the Position

Reporting to the Associate Executive Director (AED), this position is responsible for overseeing environmental services, ensuring that proper safety procedures are followed, and the buildings are cleaned and sanitized according to department standards and quality standards of a healthcare environment. Coordinates laundry services with Corporate Laundry Supervisor, manages various contracted service providers.

Job Duties

* Provides leadership across Environmental Services department by being a role model and maintaining effective communication with feedback from employees across the departments.
* Encourages feedback from, maintains relations with, and monitors commitment of providing highest quality of service to customers, including residents, family, guests, employees, internal customers, and partners/suppliers.
* Mentors ES manager on effectively assisting employees with personal growth, training and utilizing job skills.
* Monitors and completes monthly Quality Improvement documentation. Is a member of both the Quality Improvement Committee and Safety Committee.
* Oversees maintenance of daily linen supplies.

Job Requirements

* Bachelor's degree highly preferred or high school diploma with equivalent work experience required in environmental services within a healthcare setting.
* Minimum of 5 years' supervisory experience required, preferably in a retirement community or healthcare setting.
* Required proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ADP.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience required in developing and managing operating and staffing budgets.
* Accredited with Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional (CHESP) or in the process of obtaining credential or equivalent.

About the Position

The Project Manager manages all key Goodwin House capital projects and is the lead for apartment renovations for GHA/GHBC. Project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope, hiring and managing external contractors, supervising in-house OPM staff, and overseeing all aspects of projects. This position is responsible for optimizing apartment renovation times to accelerate move-in process.

Job Duties

* Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
* Assist in defining project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility.
* Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
* Communicate with all vendors and subcontractors to ensure they understand the performance standards related to predetermined schedules or plans and specifications.
* Tracks progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, approved timelines. Reports status and variances. Create action plans to meet objectives, budgets, and schedule.
* Create and manage weekly internal project status reports.

Job Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
* Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification preferred
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organizational and analytical skills
* Ability to draft and complete specifications and standards for RFP's/RPQ's desired

About the Position

Goodwin House is currently seeking Philanthropy Director who will report directly to the Chief Philanthropy Officer (CPO) and assist the CPO in the planning and implementation of the Foundation's fundraising program as the primary person responsible for overseeing all aspects of the giving program at an assigned GHI life-plan community. This person will play a major role in creating solicitation and stewardship publications and will assist in coordinating cultivation and stewardship events. This person will manage a portfolio of donors to build relationships which foster engagement and result in successful outcomes. The Director of Philanthropy works with the Director of Stewardship to manage the gift acknowledgment process for all gifts to the Foundation from the assigned life plan community.

Job Duties

* Collaborate with colleagues and GHI leaders to enthusiastically advance the mission of Goodwin House Incorporated
* Work with the CPO and other members of the GHF team to establish fundraising goals and to develop an operational plan that will meet goals annually
* Work with the CPO to identify, cultivate and solicit residents and family members associated with the assigned life plan community who can make leadership gifts to the Annual Fund, and major and planned gifts to other purposes
* Identify and manage a portfolio of approximately 100 potential donors (individuals/couples) which includes recording conversations and pertinent information into Raiser's Edge after each contact, and determining next-step engagement strategies
* When appropriate, advise and engage the CPO, the CEO or other colleagues to increase philanthropic support from residents, family members and friends of GHI

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree required
* A minimum of 5 years of experience of individual fundraising experience
* Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills a must
* Knowledge of Blackbaud Raiser's Edge and Microsoft Office Suites preferred
