You will lead and manage a team of security personnel to maintain a secure environment throughout the park. * Supervise and direct security personnel during your shift, ensuring all duties are performed effectively and efficiently * Enforce the rules and policies of Hurricane Harbor Phoenix , Six Flags Entertainment, State Laws, County and City Ordinances. * Demonstrate and continually train the Cornerstones of Safety, Service, and Cleanliness and the Core Values of Integrity, Courtesy, and Inclusiveness to each Guest and Ambassador. * Respond to emergencies promptly, evaluate the nature and severity of the situation, and act accordingly, including calling for assistance and interacting with local law enforcement and other EMS services if necessary. * Perform routine patrols throughout the park to monitor safety and security * Respond to emergencies, including medical incidents, security threats, and guest disturbances * Oversee the monitoring and operation of surveillance systems, including CCTV, alarms, and radio communications * Ensure the security team is properly equipped, trained, and following procedures * Document incidents, accidents, and other activities accurately in daily logs * Assembles evidence and assists i n the questioning of suspects. * Coordinates with Public Safety Management arrests and ejections made on his or her shift. * Provide training and guidance to new security team members * Conduct drills and review security policies regularly * Handle guest interactions and resolve conflicts in a professional manner * Collaborate with management to improve safety measures and operations * Provide oversight and subject matter expertise on assigned area of responsibility (i.e., training, records management, patrol operations, vehicle operations, emergency preparedness, guest screening Qualifications: * Must be at least 21 years of age * 2 years Public Safety experience or background * High School or GED is a must * Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills * Possess the ability to handle confidential information without divulging contents to peers and coworkers * AZDPS Security Guard License (preferred) * Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure * Able to handle confidential information responsibly * Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills * Able to work flexible/rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays * Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time * Ability to pass background check and drug screening
