Brian Rainey is the Chief Executive Officer of Gooten, the globally distributed production and logistics company transforming the way online brands manufacture and fulfill merchandise to their customers. As a “big picture” thinker, Brian elevates the organization through pivotal leadership and strategic direction, while aiding in the expansion of financing, hiring, and global initiatives, as well.

Prior to Gooten, Brian gained experience in the accounting and finance industries, previously serving as the Chief Financial Officer of Buzz Points, Inc, based in Austin Texas, a FinTech company delivering local rewards for community banks and credit unions. Before that, he worked at Deutsche Bank in New York and the Venture Capital Services Practice at Deloitte in the Washington DC area. At Deutsche Bank, he focused on serving clients in the Industrial Technology and Global Diversified subsectors in a variety of capital markets and M&A situations, including both public and private transactions as well as both domestic and cross-border Mergers & Acquisitions. At Deloitte, Brian aimed his energies at venture-backed early-stage growth companies, providing accounting and audit services ahead of potential public market share offerings, private sales, or further growth capital raises.

At Gooten, Brian maintains an entrepreneurial perspective by which he views every challenge as an opportunity. He solves problems by curating and motivating an inspired, highly skilled cross-functional team to ensure the seamless executions of processes by devising and formulating business strategies as well as creating short-term goals and long-term objectives.

Brian holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from James Madison University in Virginia, and an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.

Lucus Lally is the Chief Technology Officer at Gooten, the globally distributed production and logistics company transforming the way online brands manufacture and fulfill merchandise to their customers. As someone with a wealth of hands-on experience, Lucus knows how to lead a team of highly-skilled developers to accomplish a common goal, both when onsite and working from home. At Gooten, Lucus develops and evolves Gooten’s strategy for using technical resources, ensuring the platform is used efficiently while evaluating new systems and infrastructure. He also aligns the technology groups to deliver consistently while empowering technical ownership to gain deep expertise in focused areas.Before his time at Gooten, Lucus built a career as a software tester and engineer, as a Senior Quality Assurance Manager, and as a Director of Productivity Engineering. While working for Nintendo and Microsoft, respectively, he quickly adapted to various responsibilities including defect filing, regressing, reviewing, and executing test cases, along with platform testing while earning credit on AAA game titles such as Gears of War 3. While a Test Engineer for Quardev, Inc., and AT&T, Lucus gained experience leading and mentoring teams across various departments like low energy Bluetooth, Firmware, and virtual machines, while actively communicating with external stakeholders about further product releases and effective defect triage meetings. At Sinclair Digital, he led a department of 45 people across both onsite and remote teams while building data-driven roadmaps, a high-velocity Agile/Scrum environment, dedicated Incident Management and Content Operations initiatives, and more.Lucus holds a AA and multiple Computer Software certificates from Bellevue College

Mark Kapczynski has a successful track record as a serial entrepreneur, chief executive and cross-industry expert. He recently founded LocationX, a physical location data network leveraging beacon technology and a mobile application ecosystem. Mr. Kapczynski advises startup businesses as part of the LA Chamber of Commerce’s Bixel Exchange. He assists technology startups in Southern California to design their businesses, build out their teams and raise capital to fuel their growth. Mr. Kapczynski at Arrowroot Capital, focuses on investments in the SaaS market in need of growth capital to further develop their businesses. Andrew Nied is a Chief Supply Chain Officer at Gooten and is based in Memphis, Tennessee.
