POSITION SUMMARY:
The Security Officer may face situations dealing with our guests, employees, and company assets (whether it be social or emergency basis). The Security Officer will follow all Winter Park policies and procedures, all applicable laws (federal, state, and local), and all health and sanitation codes.
WAGE:
The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of Winter Park Resorts hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
General Responsibilities
Protect Winter Park Resort assets by transferring deposits and handling change orders area wide
Monitor buildings and vehicles
Collect monies from seasonal lockers, token lockers, and gate cards in an unarmed capacity
Manage and assist with 24-hour building access for guests and employees using keys, card access, alarm access, and door codes
Assist Traffic Control by enforcing traffic regulations, assisting with jump starts, lockouts, and towing (during regular work hours and after hours)
Assist our guest by addressing complaints and problems (in mostly stressful situations)
Provide information, find lost people, and solve ski equipment mix-ups
Strive to achieve a 70% return rate, file ski theft reports, give refunds, assist with coin operated machine problems, handle Lost and Found (including after hours and during the off season), and administer Seasonal Locker program
Monitor snow fall and make calls for snow removal
Monitor and patrol buildings, vehicle, and foot traffic areas
Vary shifts according to available manpower and work responsibilities
Have 100% documentation of night logs
Provide 24-hour coverage for Winter Park Resort so problems can be dealt with promptly
Follow key authorization procedures for each department
Provide assistance to Winter Park Resort employees in areas of lost locker keys, vehicle problems, guest conflicts, absenteeism reporting, emergency contacts, and after hours First Aid care
Maintain flexibility to fulfill Security contract requests with outside vendors
Maintain competent enforcement procedures for enforcing laws as they pertain to the State of Colorado, Grand County, and the Town of Winter Park and Winter Park Resort
Uphold these competent enforcement procedures through investigation and proper reporting
Monitor the area for Emergency situations that may develop
Quickly respond and effectively deal with the situations to reduce risks for our guests and employees
Maintain and monitor fire protection systems, fire extinguisher maintenance, fire suppression equipment, alarm systems, and training
Maintain burglar protection systems and hold-up protection for the area
Provide basic medical assistance after hours and assist during business hours
Perform interviews and investigations for risk management, traffic accidents, theft, and ticket fraud
Enforce liquor codes and Skier Safety act
Handle disturbances and unruly guests
Fill out reports within 24 hours of incidents and make court appearance (if necessary)
Liaison between local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies
Monitor and document gasoline usage
Document shift duties with night logs
Administer the resort motor pool program
Assist with animal control
Assist emergency vehicles (ambulance and helicopters)
Maintain crowd control for special events
Register Skis
Assist in collecting bad debts and uniforms from terminated employees
Help with locksmith problems
Assist with wildland fire protection
Operate and maintain seasonal locker program
Assist Risk and Safety with GHS/HAZMAT program

Will manage the class programs of the Freeski Park and Pipe Competition Center training groups. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Recruit, organize, and manage program coaching staff including staff scheduling, performance planning, and evaluation.
Assist to hire, train, manage alpine administration staff within budget, promote efficiency, and keep workload manageable
Provide leadership of daily training for program participants.
Communicate effectively with parents and athletes.
Prepare and implement technical teaching progressions, methodologies and content for daily training for athletes in conjunction with Program Senior Manager/Director.
Have high standards for safety in all training environments.
Assure that all facilities and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
Video and conduct video analysis sessions with participants on a regular basis.
Conduct athlete goal setting meetings at start of year, review throughout season, and at the end of the season.
Coordinate team travel to alpine racing events and other local, regional and national alpine competitions.
Responsible for athlete supervision, van transportation, team captain's meeting representation, accommodation, lodging check in/out, and on-hill coaching duties at these events.
Provide positive feedback on a daily basis to participants and submit written mid-season and year-end evaluations on each participant.
Assist athletes and their families in obtaining equipment from ski manufacturers' representatives.
Participate in coaches meetings, briefings, and other professional functions as directed by Freestyle/Freeskiing Senior Manager/Director.
Provide regular feedback and evaluation to freeride coaching staff.
Plan for spring, summer and fall on and off snow ski and conditioning camps and dry land activities in conjunction with the Freestyle/ Freeskiing Senior Manager/Director and Sports Performance Manager.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High school graduate or GED is required.
Advanced level skiing skills and knowledge as indicated by demonstration to Supervisor/Director. Equivalent to skills required for Level 100 education in US Ski and Snowboard Coaches Education or IFSA and avalanche safety program. PSIA or equivalent acceptable.
Should have a minimum of three seasons as a coach in an organized USASA, US Ski and Snowboard, or have experience at the NorAm level.
Experience in ski tuning, boot modification, and related equipment experience desirable.
Should be competent in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook (email)
Experience in physical literacy, physical fitness and dry land training programs desirable.

Track and report RPAC contributions, participation, and refund requests in coordination with DMAR's finance department and the Colorado Association of Realtors (CAR).
Manage communication and compliance for RPAC investments, including reporting, acknowledgments, and contributor tracking.
Coordinate RPAC member recognition programs and awards.
Plan, coordinate and manage Government Affairs events in conjunction with the Government Affairs Director and the Events Department.
Communications & Content
Assist in drafting content for newsletters, action alerts, social media posts, and website content related to government affairs with the communications team.
Maintain advocacy and RPAC content across digital platforms and internal tracking systems.

Qualifications:

Job Overview
The Director of Housekeeping is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of the hotel, guest rooms, public areas and other assigned areas. Directs and coordinates all functions of the Housekeeping and Laundry departments and ensures impeccable levels of cleanliness and upkeep. Responsibilities

Job Overview
Meets and exceeds revenue goals by developing new accounts and growing current hotel accounts in a profitable and win-win selling approach.
Responsibilities
Achieves a minimum of 90% of productivity goals and 100% of activity goals, as established by management.
Leads direct reports in a manner that achieves the properties sales goals and holds them accountable to their essential duties and responsibilities.
Direct Sales: Targets appointment-oriented sales calls to ensure a successful direct sales program, in accordance with goals established by department budget and marketing plan. Must have own reliable transportation and posses a valid state driver's license in order to make sales calls.
Key Account Management: Maximizes current hotel key accounts by identifying and capturing those that offer revenue growth.
New Account Development: Captures competitor's accounts through networking, research and reader board surveys in order to target and solicit those most probable to generate new business.
Plans and implements an on-going Targeted Account Development "hit list" in order to create new revenue and acquire valuable hotel contacts, and contracts.
Plan and implement ecommerce and internet marketing strategies.
