Position Summary:
The Customer Service Analyst will provide technical and customer service to external and internal customers as an immediate point of contact for basic service requests and urgent problem resolution.
What you will do:
Receive internal and external customer orders and requests via phone, email, or fax.
Participate in the training of new Call Center Representatives and attend ongoing training sessions.
Field customer complaints and direct the information to the appropriate person. Communicate customer concerns to sales representative.
Maintain knowledge and proper use of Gordon Food Service systems including Business Applications, Google Apps, Aspect phone system, Order Entry technologies, and Internet Applications
Arrange exception deliveries in collaboration with the transportation department or delivery service in urgent need cases.
Provide technical and how to support via telephone to internal and external customers for GFS Applications
Provide solutions to issues concerning training, program malfunction or technology application with an emphasis on key product segments
Enter call information into call tracking software efficiently and accurately
Provide external application support as applicable
Maintains knowledge of current Gordon Food Service products and business solutions in order to provide/recommend appropriate services for customers.
Performs other duties as assigned.
When you will work:
Monday through Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm.
Saturday rotation shift (8AM-2PM) once every 7 weeks.
Hybrid Work Schedule: 4 days in office, 1 day from home.
What you'll bring to the table:

Position Summary:
The Division Merchandising Manager executes product merchandising activities within the assigned division that support goals for all categories of products. Vendor/Broker Management
Serves as the primary communication point for the local broker and supplier community.

Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers and trucks as necessary.

Position Summary:
As a Solutions Engineer for Supply Chain Network Solutions, you will drive the evolution of our supply chain from initial ideation to detailed design. You will engineer solutions of all scales-from targeted, modular improvements within a single facility to comprehensive, end-to-end network transformations. Success in this role hinges on your ability to act as a critical liaison, facilitating technical discussions and translating complex system concepts into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels. What you will do:
Full-Lifecycle Solution Development: Lead the solution development process from initial ideation and brainstorming, through conceptual development, validation via simulation and modeling, and into the final detailed design phase. Develop a portfolio of solutions ranging from modular and scalable improvements to large-scale, integrated systems.
Technology Thought Leadership & Vendor Partnership: Act as an internal thought leader on logistics technology, maintaining a deep understanding of the tech provider landscape. Lead the engagement with vendor partners to conduct feasibility studies, proof-of-concept projects, and pilot programs to vet emerging technologies and validate potential solutions.
Business Case & ROI Justification: Develop comprehensive business cases for network-wide initiatives. Build financial models that articulate ROI and TCO, evaluating the holistic impact on the entire supply chain and presenting clear justification for capital investments.
